@charliebell01 The old linux users have freak out with all these bells and whistles. These users are the old classic school who use the Slackware distro, and are sick with the command line. :-)
yeah just run the live cd while running vista and you should get an option box where you can install it inside of vista choose that one and you pretty much restart ur pc or laptop let it configure and boom you can dual boot after that...hope that helped!! ^_^
Is openSUSE we know today more like Slackware or Red Hat Enterprise Linux or mixed of two? I'm very interested in openSUSE after I lost faith in Microsoft.
lol its osrt of like a hacked windows xp on steriods. Im runnin Ubuntu rite now and i kind of prefer it-it can do all the same things as OpenSuSe. Oh yea and in real life those cool open/close windows effects get kind of annoying
Can I ask you something? How did you do that effect of the ball? I also installed Compiz Fusion on KDE and I can't figure out how to do that! Thanx a lot
26 secs in you can see the word "sex" embeded in the grass of the desktop background many times. Pause it at 26 secs or where ever you see the grasses background and you will see it and there are many more but the one that i can see the most obvious is one directly in the middle as if someone has drawn it in there with a transparent sharpie. these subliminal messages are so obvious i cannot believe on one has noticed them!
you are wrong Akram..... it is Opensuse 11. I know I installed it.. you are correct in saying it is KDE3 - KDE4 although a good project is not in my opinion ready for my main desktop though I believe the time will come. And as you say "grate plugins" but as you seem to enj0oy pedantry I must say your spelling has room for improvement.
depends which KDE, you have KDE3 and KDE4, kde3 is more mature, runs stable. kde4 is newer and has some bigs here and there. Gnome is more gui based. so its your choise, just try both.

OpenSuse needs to fuck Kubuntu. Would make good offspring.

I will most definitely try that when OpenSuSE downloads - I just hope that the OpenSource drivers that AMD released yesterday will work...

It is KDE 3, and it is not even openSUSE 11(coz it look like openSUSE 10.x), its just some grate plugins compiz provides.

KDE4 with Plasma is awesome.. But right now quite unstable. I'm downloading the ATi Drivers right now.
