@Mazryonh According to Max Popenker's website (worldgunsru), Alan Zitta produced the LR-300 from 2000 to 2007, then he sold the design rights to Para USA, and now Para USA is producing the Tactical Target Rifle, that's pretty much a semi-auto LR-300 with a long barrel.

@Xerxes1688 Wow, that sounds like a lost opportunity for revenue almost as big as when Armalite sold their AR-15 design to Colt!

I'd like to see LR-300s in more games. It's pretty much one of the few ways to see an AR-15 design with a folding stock, which would be really useful for stowage in a vehicle or otherwise when not in use. I'd also like to see just how much the new gas system reduces recoil.

It is really expensive for an AR for no significant gain. But hot damn they are sexy.

As for STALKER, I think it's because they like strange niche weapons. How something like this would end up in the Zone I will never know.

Well, coming from a country with strict gun laws, it´s just a hypothetical question to me, but basically any modern assault rifle does it´s job quite well.

The engineers and designers learned a lot and today, assault rifles are light, compact, easy to clean, reliable and in most cases quite accurate.

I just prefer the G36 because of its obvious "special operations"-look.
