I tried one today. I think it is passable if you go a whole step down..anything more than that..gets inauthentic. Sorry....I REALLY wanted to buy this pedal today. Its USA made.,...the design is smart (mechanically) but the audio still needs to be better. I play professionally and use very good gear..it would affect my sound to much if I used it more than 1 whole step down. For me, thats not worth 200 dollars. But I wouldve payed $250 if they had done it right, sonically.
can this pedal drop some strings further than others? for example, from standard, the E string is dropped two steps, while all the others are dropped one step.
Paul.... use more treble on your amp when testing this video... the EQ to start off is so dull that it's probably tripping people out to think that the pedal dulls your sound. gosh.
When he switches to a lower tuning, is the tone losing highs? It seems to lose it's brightness and gets darker in tone the lower he goes. I play bass, so I know you can still have low notes with brightness.
I got this a week or so ago - and found out today, they are bringing out the Morpheus Capo - basically the opposite of the drop tune - looking forward to owning both :D
Mine does drop. But it seems like it adds this extra texture to the sound like if an octaver is always active, specially when a crisp clean tone is used. In their website there's a firmware update available but for those pedals with certain serial numbers, mine does not need one supposedly. I like it because it is to useful for me but the sound I'm not happy. With fat distortion gain it is almost fine, but clean tones in my case are not good enough to perform with.
what guitar is that??

I wonder what it would sound like if your guitar started at Drop G, then you went down with the pedal.

Can this pedal be used with any other pedals? Like a Pod Xt Live, or any other effects processors?
