Just because a band is labeled "Christian" doesn't mean that all they sing is praise and worship; they create songs with a good message to them, and with clean lyrics. Not trying to bash, but Skillet is a fully christian band...anybody who disputes that can check out their older podcasts or go to one of their shows, they openly admit they're Christian. (Or check out John's tattoo, lol)

@SnakeAngelRemer I TOTALLY agree with you. 100%. Religion(to me) is just another way you worship God. Just like in the Bible when the Samaritans and Jews hated each other 'cause they worshipped differently. That still happens today, which saddens me. Some people think their religion is "better". The main thing is Christ.

I love the Lord, but it saddens me when the most basic proof of His existence is denied. In me and every other Christian on the earth, His Holy Spirit resides. How can one person see the testimonies and completely disregard Him? I am a schizoid, but He makes me feel. I was a zoosexual and He relieved me of that sexuality. However, you can't blame the jews for His death because the Romans killed Him who were gentiles and the Jews wanted Him dead. actually, the catholic church has it's own set of rules, and guidelines, then say, a baptist denomination, or a pentacostal denomination. neither of those two denominations or other protestant denominations pray to Mary, or believe she was anything other then a God-fearing woman that was chosen by God to birth His son because of her faith, and the fact that she was a virgin.( Luke 1 NIV) But you are right, Christians should follow their basic principles. In the bible it says that God gives us swords, not peace. If we christians should be to any use, we have to tell someone about Jesus, tell people what he did for you and me. WW3seeker - the bible is actually quite clear about religion. Especially if you notice that the only people Jesus speaks against are the religious elite. The reason is because religion is what happens when you boil down true love for God to a bunch of rules that mimic the behavior of someone who loves God. Everyone loves God in a different way. Everyone talks to God in a different way.
The true love for God will always reflect Biblical love for God and Jesus is always at the center of that love.
Because in every person is a need to know God, whether or not they are aware of it. He built it into us when we were made. So even those who profess to hate all this Christian or God stuff are still searching for these very things. Skillet is the best Christian band of all time, I believe in God, and Jesus, and I love them both, it doesn't matter what religion you are as long as you love the Lord, and the Christ. Thumbs up if you love God and and agree.

Just like in the Bible when the Samaritans and Jews hated each other 'cause they worshipped differently. That still happens today, which saddens me. Some people think their religion is "better". The main thing is Christ.

I love the Lord, but it saddens me when the most basic proof of His existence is denied. In me and every other Christian on the earth, His Holy Spirit resides. How can one person see the testimonies and completely disregard Him? I am a schizoid, but He makes me feel. I was a zoosexual and He relieved me of that sexuality. I no longer have any desires at all in that area. Science cannot explain that. Only the grace of the Lord can.

@Zyncler However there is doubt that the buddha ever existed while we know for a fact that Jesus existed and claimed to be God. Thats why the Jews tryed to kill him. However, you can't blame the jews for His death because the Romans killed Him who were gentiles and the Jews wanted Him dead. Jesus is known to exist because there would've been objectors to what had been written in the bible, however there was no objections. Also, many secular historians take about Jesus' death. nuff said.

actually, the catholic church has it's own set of rules, and guidelines, then say, a baptist denomination, or a pentacostal denomination. neither of those two denominations or other protestant denominations pray to Mary, or believe she was anything other then a God-fearing woman that was chosen by God to birth His son because of her faith, and the fact that she was a virgin.( Luke 1 NIV) But you are right, Christians should follow their basic principles. That is why Christianity is different. All other belief systems categorized as "religion" try to force you to work to perfection. You can't do that and everyone knows that. In the bible it says that God gives us swords, not peace. If we christians should be to any use, we have to tell someone about Jesus, tell people what he did for you and me. We should be the salt and the light in this world. We should not be scared of telling, without God you're nothing, and without action, your faith is dead. Religion was made to control man, it blinds people from reality and causes war e.g the crusades (although it was mostly for power religion did play a big part). Obviously not all muslims but some muslims kill others because of their religion, they do also get brainwashed and drugged but religion is a big reason for things going wrong, it would be easier if it was never invented by MEN!

You're just dodging the question I posed to you. Why is love more desirable than any other emotion? Scientifically. Because if there is no God, then all we can really turn to is science, and if there's no science, then we're basically lost and have no idea about anything. Without God, science needs to be able to explain everything: it can't.

WW3seeker - the bible is actually quite clear about religion. Especially if you notice that the only people Jesus speaks against are the religious elite. The reason is because religion is what happens when you boil down true love for God to a bunch of rules that mimic the behavior of someone who loves God. Everyone loves God in a different way. Everyone talks to God in a different way.
The true love for God will always reflect Biblical love for God and Jesus is always at the center of that love.

yeah and btw your english is pretty good, but pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease don't thank god for that! I don't get those people who thank god for everything they learned, did or have! You learned english thanks to your own powers, the more you believe in them the more you can do! And if everyone would do that we could make this world a much better place and there would be no more need for religions!
