BTK is amazing, playing on karkand today reminded me back to the bf2 days when mec's had the last part left and u.s were running across the bridge and the tanks were pushing up. The returning weapons and vehicles are great to use and i seem to play these maps more than the original bf3 maps

Colin, you mentioned on previous videos that there's a delay with the PS3 controller and the movement on the screen didn't you? That's what happened to me when I played using the HD cables. But when I played with the other settings (dunno what's the name of the 3 colors: red white and yellow) the delay didn't happen. What are you're thoughts about that?

Colin, what graphics card do u run Battlefield3 on with? you said you've gotten 35-40 framerate in ultra settings...my guess is that you have a lower high end card, correct? something like GTX560 or similar?

@SuperSassy222 so i got it correct for the most part. he has a little worse card than i got. i think it should be running BF3 a little better than 40 framerate but he said this happen on the B2K maps. i guess that happens cause they are a little bigger maps than the usual BF3 maps.

The maps are just so sweet. At first i didn't believe my eyes on the Gulf Of Oman that it has seven capture points, but it works great on a 64 player CQ. I haven't tried Wake Island or Sharqi Penisula yet, but I'll try today and i hope they are as good as the two others. :)

So I know that you play pc but can you do a review of console back to karkand because I play xbox and I feel like the maps have wayyy too may vehicles because we only have like 12 people on each team and their are about enough vehicles for everyone to be in tanks, helicopter, or jets in conquest. This makes the engineer literally a must I feel. I just want someone who is experienced in Battlefield to see if maybe it is just me.

@raksasa You need to complete the assignments to unlock them. You can find out what they are in the main menu, the Famas is the Assault class and you need 10 Revives/10 Heals...not sure what the others are

Also, one rule I often go by is the beacons on xbox. If a friend of mine is playing ie. Dungeon Defenders, BF3, BC2 etc. but doesn't have a beacon saying he wants friends to join, I won't unless invited. Especially for you YouTubers I think that might be a useful tip for your followers in that regard.

the only main problem with this game is this gun USAS-12... It needs to be NERF, i was literally sniped, ohko @ mid range, close range, 2 OHKO @ long range, it was ridiculous and the worst part i was against a team with a bunch of shot gun users in TDM and Conquest. Sigh!

if you hit a helicopter with a tank you will only disable it but it wont be able to fly so most ppl just jump out and let the chopper go straight in to the ground = vehicle destroyed ( i think that its still possible to save it but you need a desent pilot to do that )

@tinyjeans I lie. You can play conquest. In Conquest, you start with 3 flags capped to their 4. In Conquest Assault, they have all of them.

It's stupid that it takes 2 tank shells to killed an undamaged helicopter. Same with hitting one with an unguided RPG... It's really not an easy feat, so I don't see why you aren't rewarded heavily for it.

@Crana To be fair, helicopters do have a fair amount of armor on them so it makes sense that you can't destroy them in one shot. Although, disabling them pretty much counts as destroying them considering they blow up when they crash. Either way, you put them out of commission.

@heavychevy931 I think the shear force from the tank shell would make the chopper flip over and do alsorts of crazy stuff, and that's IF the shell didn't rip right through the thing. An RPG is a bit different I guess, but tank shells pack soooo much kinetic energy it's amazing. I guess I'd just like a reward for pulling off a nice shot, that's all, 100 points isn't much in BF3.

@Crana @Crana Yea it would be nice to get a bigger point bonus for the difficulty of the shot. If the tank shell hit the chopper center mass it would more than likely just knock it sideways since the chopper is floating. The pilot wouldn't be able to recover from it though. That only applies to attack choppers though. As for the Huey's and transports everybody inside would die. The chopper might survive the hit, but the people most definitely will not.

what do you think about enemy anti tank mines and claymores displaying on the mini map. because i dont like that, it takes away the unknown as i felt i was always good in placing them where people would not expect and now thay can just look at the mini map and avoid them or toss a grenade on them.

@RichGTR If you check on Battlelog, there is a "Check mark" next to the stats. That will tell you the assignments you need to complete to unlock the weapons :)
