b1bman, do you have a thread on an rc forum detailing all the work you did? Would love to do the same thing to an EDF (Turbo Vector) I have. I am willing to spend the cash it takes but I am in need of info on how to do this kind of work. JC
Do you have to put the receiver on the out side? I am in the process of making something simular, I would love to make it all out of carbon, but I didn't know.
no not really if you know how to fly faster than 160mph and don't like the wing coming off a foam one and now that the molds are done it takes nothing to make a new one
ok .....but we wanna know weight difference , etc ...

no I am flying a spectrum DX7 with Ar500 2.4 it 's inside with just a the long antenna ran out side

Doesn't this defeat the whole point in the funjet, it being foam it was moderately easy to repair
