takes me back to whan i was 12 amd my dad used to take me to all night raves in the middle of a woods beautiful times love this band so much epic tune
One of the most beautiful songs of Underworld. I only listen it at night because I think it's the perfect track for the evening. It has something melancholic, a sort of hungering to the past, although it's not clear whether that was a happy time or a past with sadness. For me, It reminds me to the first one I loved on high school. Not a joyfull time actually.
I love how the lead vocals pull us right around the corner and all of a sudden we are being driven by the back-beat so hard that we forget its the back-beat and start tapping our feet like its the fore-beat. Then the song bounces us around from following the back-beat, then to the fore-beat, and then back again to the back-beat. Leaves your head swimming if you try to just stay on one beat. The keyboards are like some trippy Gregorian chant. The drumming is relentless. Brilliant!
Futuremusic has an article on the album this month: apparently this song was improvised by Rick and Karl whilst sitting in one of their bedrooms. Cool as hell. The whole way this album was put together is so brilliantly "unprofessional"- Underworld are just amazing.
Grew up with this track. I always loved that this song could get away with saying "Licking Colonel Sanders' Finger" and keep a straight face. Lovely track. This and Banstyle/Sappy's Curry were my favorites.
Brilliant song that shows some of Underworld's Freur ('Doot doot') roots. What a great final track on an immense album (from Junite/kiteless to this... what more could anyone want?).
hard to like or dislike it sir. the memory will call upon us to imagine all the things we long for and miss the most, and music calls that out of us. The moment was not wrong. The song is exactly RIGHT.
I can't even imagine what it was you went through, but the pain is palpable, throgh sharing this song...
I used to listen to this cd everyday my freshmen year of high school but it's been a while and I'd almost forgotten this song tyvm for add. takes me back
Anyone notice this sounds exactly like Ogre's theme from Tekken 3?

Great song, but I like the whole album as well. Stagger and Pearls Girl are the tracks I like most.

MotherF***, this is wonderful.
But, my God, does it remind me of bad times. Or, more accurately, saying goodbye to a girl times.
Awful childhood moment.
But there's beauty in that too.
