it's not Jack Of Blades, if you read a book called the hero of Oakvale, you will read that the informatio of the family of the hero of fable 1 are lost, so rosie and you are the children of your character in fable 1, maybe the guy in the letter is your father, remember theresa says " WIth this wish you can riveve your dog and all your family".

It's not Jack. Jack of Blades is destroyed in Fable 1. Any sequel/prequel to Fable in the future and currently will go off of Fable 1's canon storyline. Jack is dead, but if you want to make a reference, it could be your hero just older and with lost muscle-tone. It could also just be Garth. I don't know where he went but it sounds Amazonic so it's a fair assumption. Or it could be the guildmaster, or it could be Theresa, or it could just be some hermit. Doesn't matter, it's dropped in F3

Like Elves from fantasy lore, they don't age or age doesn't effect them, but they CAN die in battle, that might be why the hero from Fable 2 died eventually.
Idk if you already know this, since the video is kinda old, but it's been confirmed it is actually Scythe, the first Archon, and not Jack (who's not even a king), who Rose was talking about. It would make sense cause scythe's blue robe did have a hood (he didn't wear it in fable 1 tho), he was the first Archon (king) and the hero of oakvale, and the main heroes from fable I and II were decendants of the archons (which explains the bloodline)

Ah, my apologies- Snowspire is only in Fable: The Lost Chapters, which is essentially a redux of the first game. Though, in the original game, you can see Scythe talking to Maze in his tower at the guild during the childhood & Adolescent stages.

Im pretty sure lionhead confirmed Scythe was the the one in the note. I admit though I thought it could have been Jack at first too but then again i didn't know about Lost Chapters until after fable 2.can't wait to see what lionhead plans to do next though I'm thinking Theresa might be a problem in a later game if they make one.

The fourth fable should be a total recall to Fable 1. A vortex opens and the 4 beings that emerge destroy the kingdom, as they did with the old kingdom (Jack was one of the beings that emerged when the old kingdom was destroyed). Its your job to defeat all the beings cast jack back into the vortex and la de da de da. Im not a writer

lionhead confirm it was schyte its the ancestor of all the fable characters you play as the hero of oakvale (fable 1) the hero of southcliff (the one of the fable page of the puppets) the hero of bowerston (fable 2) and his (fable 3) son the hero of i dont remember ha. they are the only heroes that can master all 3 abilities except for the one of southclif

It's not Jack. Jack of Blades is destroyed in Fable 1. Any sequel/prequel to Fable in the future and currently will go off of Fable 1's canon storyline. Jack is dead, but if you want to make a reference, it could be your hero just older and with lost muscle-tone. It could also just be Garth. I don't know where he went but it sounds Amazonic so it's a fair assumption. Or it could be the guildmaster, or it could be Theresa, or it could just be some hermit. Doesn't matter, it's dropped in F3

And yes sythe has the ability to live for ever but who`s to say jack doesent he has cheated death twice whats stopping him from doing it a third time and a decendent from archon will have the power of imortality the hero of oakvale will very likely be alive as he made a deal with the 3 blades to live forver as he feard death more then anything they made him imortell but turned his home oakvale in to wraithmarsh as theresa was his sister she is also imortal but imortals can still die in battle.

I have a number of theorys
1. The mask was the only evil thing about jack it controlled him and when it was destroyd he was transported to the forest and spent the rest of his days with rose
2.Jack could be using rose as bait for the hero in fable one after the hero beats the arena he tells the hero he knows his family well and would like to see them reunited.
3.its very clear it is not sythe as she writes he wears a hood and he is a king jack clearly wears a hood and is the king of blades.

@joesephpaul The game Lore goes that the original hero and will-user fought Jack, Knight and Queen of Blades, and Jack had returned in the mask. Its also believed that Scythe WAS the original hero too, so that sounds about right. Also all will-users (And heroes) are from that same blood-line.

@staten0267 Good point. I believe that the heroes who are decendants of the first Archon, A.K.A William Black A.K.A Scythe, were immortals, in a way. Like Elves from fantasy lore, they don't age or age doesn't effect them, but they CAN die in battle, that might be why the hero from Fable 2 died eventually.

Idk if you already know this, since the video is kinda old, but it's been confirmed it is actually Scythe, the first Archon, and not Jack (who's not even a king), who Rose was talking about. It would make sense cause scythe's blue robe did have a hood (he didn't wear it in fable 1 tho), he was the first Archon (king) and the hero of oakvale, and the main heroes from fable I and II were decendants of the archons (which explains the bloodline)

@darkraioxxx Jack of blades couldnt die cause of his soul being in his mask. As soon as he was killed the next fool would wear it. However, in the lionhead studios story it states that the hero, in the history of fable, did in fact throw it into the lava, and with it, destroyed jack's soul....so he IS dead now.

It's been confirmed that the person Rose talks about in the letter is Scythe, was in fact William Black, the first archon who defeated jack of blades by giving his soul to the sword of Aeons to acquire to the power to defeat the Court. Sides, she says the man is a king, and jack of blades isn't a king. He's just a power hungry villain.

Ah, my apologies- Snowspire is only in Fable: The Lost Chapters, which is essentially a redux of the first game. Though, in the original game, you can see Scythe talking to Maze in his tower at the guild during the childhood & Adolescent stages.

The exceedingly tall, slightly decomposing gentleman who you meet at Snowspire. If you've beaten the game, you'd remember him. He's bald, undead, and speaks with a very low voice- he's the one he sends you out to get the gkyphs for the Snowspire oracle.

@ludicrus32 yes ive beaten the first Fable but ive never heard of a place called "Snowspire" is it a DLC? because ive beaten Jack of Blades and got the Sword of Aeons but after that ive never been to a place called snowspire... if you can tell me what to do to get there that wud be helpful. and i dont recall a quest for getting a glyph book in that game :D so it wud be helpful to me again if u could enlighten me on this hehe

Im pretty sure lionhead confirmed Scythe was the the one in the note. I admit though I thought it could have been Jack at first too but then again i didn't know about Lost Chapters until after fable 2.can't wait to see what lionhead plans to do next though I'm thinking Theresa might be a problem in a later game if they make one.

Jack of Blades is the greatest hero of all times. Even if he's evil he still the coolest guy ever! I was disappointed about Fable 2 and Fable 3. I hope in Fable 4 Back of Blades will return.
