  • going to read the book, only to see if this douche really is captain obvious

  • hey it's the chick from home alone 3 :D

  • Reading the book for my AP class is already awkward, watching the movie is even more, so I'll stop O.O

  • This is some sick twisted stuff. "Promiscuity is a citizens duty?" "Everyone belongs to everyone else?" Sick!

  • 1:33 ...Was that a star of David?

  • @UnusualNumber wow yeah! Good spotting. Well its actually originally from the Rothschilds ie red shield

  • Bernard is suppose to be more socially awkward D:

  • Or a recreation of a recent event?

  • So is this a documentary?

  • Spock!

  • Fuck the police, this movie frustrates me on an emotional level, the pure outright possible ignorance of humanity is frightening, mostly because you understand how real it could/ is going to be. And to think that we're so weak willed that 95% of us would go along with the entire herd questioning nothing is also disturbing, that there'd only be a few and far between who'd think for themselves. It's like we're already separated into alpha's and delta's, those who think, and those who follow.

  • They messed up the names, she is not dating bernard in the begining, he dates him second.

  • This movie is not a prediction. Aldous Huxley was an elitist and freemason. This is the vision of the New World Order and they will succeed.

  • @thewestcoasttruth its only a prediction if we ignore the warnings of speculative fiction such as this

  • I wouldn't mind going to Brave New World for a vacation, but I wouldn't want to live there permanently.

  • @YouthFreedomFighters

    A club 18-30 holiday. :D

  • There's no love in this futuristic sick world, o wait...it that now? not quite yet

  • movie is sick because it is slowly happening now..the only thing not happening now is the family structure..but i also see that going down too

  • A distopian book turned into a utopian movie very interesting

  • AWESOME no marriage, promiscuity, genetically per-predetermined career paths, no kids to raise... SING ME UP!!!! except for the whole drug thing. Seriously though I read the book, is not meant to be a fun read if anything it speaks a lot more about control through the over abundance of informationn and everything technologically frivolous, much like today actually. I never thought the book would make a very entertaining movie.

  • This sort of thing is not that far off,in the UK there are more and more music festivals, night clubs, drinking, extacy.Personaly i think it is allowed to happen so people won't think too seriously about the shit in the world

  • WTF!!! IS THIS BRAVE NEW WORLD OR A GOD DAMN PORNO?!?!?!

  • So...they're Jewish?? ಠ_ಠ

  • The sound/video is getting so far out of sync I can't follow what's going on.

  • the other version i was thinking about was made in 1980 and is british.I thing it is better. But you tell me.

  • It's like Hugh Hefner's great great great great great great great great grandson became the ruler of the world.

  • i want to live with the savages

  • Man, I would hate to live in this world. The people are too stupid to realize that they're stupid.

  • 1:33. screen

  • Savage Life bitches!!

  • LAST DAY OF SCHOOL:reading the book for school

    First Day of Summer :

Youtube.com THERE A MOVIE NOT READING THE BOOK FOR SUMMER

  • @Redskinsfan12609 Read the bookthe film is COMPLETELY different and utterly useless!

  • Aside from the sound issue, (which has made me stop watching this here), This film doesn't do a bad job of dramatizing Huxley's classic. It's not very realistic, but the stylized presentation fits with the context. We are scarily close to this society today, but perhaps not entirely. We're one part Brave New World, and one part Big Brother, very subtly combined. We are ruled by Orwell, and appeased by Huxley. The trouble is, most people just can't see it.

  • the fuck man, they condensed like 2 chapters into 30 seconds at the start!

  • why is in this fucking world everything about having fun and sex

  • @xoxovirtuososue sounds a bit like our world??heh??? huxleys predictions were right

  • @manonclaudia that's exactly what I think, surely a bit up make up on the actors wouldn't have cost too much?

  • everyone belongs to everyone... well there are already many ppl practicing that..-_-

  • Justin Bieber got his retro big dorky black eye glasses look from Nimoy - love it!

  • I really need help :( this is so confusing

what is the one essential difference between the book and the movie?

  • @jeanniewuu Simple. In the novel... the content is much more universally complicated whilst this film simplifies it for the sake of stupidity...... this is for Epsilons. Solely though, the main difference is the way the characters are demonstrated. Firstly, Bernard is not as a overly righteous... in the novel he was more antisocial and an outcast because his malfunctioned conditioning granted a shorter stature than his caste. Giving him an inferiority complex.

  • Oh. Yeah. The nineties. This is just how it was.

  • bad low-budget production

  • they are not physically perfect enough! well, any way , compared to what I had imagined on reading the book. They look too human, to my mind

  • i am confused, i though bernard marx in the movie was the guy with the tatoo in the neck. ???????????????

  • It's hard to make a movie out of the book. How do you take intellectualism and child sex and 96 twins at a time and make it into a selling movie? Impossible.

  • Reminds me of Black Eyed Peas videos.

  • Lenina was not having Bernard in the book she was having Henry Foster!!! then Fanny advises her to have other people and afterwards goes with bernard to malpais where before arriving to malpais they visit another city and there she has bernard

  • 1:16 Holy fucking shit!! SPOCK!!

  • @EnthalpyH LOL you are right, but yo the movie is shit the book is amazing like the hottest pussy i have ever had and only cost me $10.

  • Hey, I'd live there for the sex...

  • Oh dear...

  • soo now she wuz wit bernard 4 mths an not henry ford.....ok, dis movie would mess me up if i didnt read da book....

  • Wow people in the future talk and their mouth moves seconds later...... amazing

  • @globalmack seconds? It felt like a minute. It's really hard to continuously remember what I saw so I can link it later to what I heard. This is clearly an alpha movie and not for deltas ;)

  • Matrix it's not........

  • Hmm, the conditioning tech looks good, I've been playing with that for years, but this gives some new ideas :)

  • Pick your poison:

    They're world is a prison

    Ours is an insane asylum.

Is there a way we can get to a rational world that does not involve pervating nature?

    YEs...by being more rational!

  • You're welcome buddy. Let me know what you think of the book once you're done if you don't mind. Otherwise all the best in future.

  • So may complaints but I havn't read the book and it gives me a pretty good picture of the general concepts in the book.

  • Go to the UN website and read "AGENDA21". There's the plan for YOU

  • all i can see in this movie is america of 2day , slaves of the zionists

  • i thought benard was a short dude... not tall

  • @punnkypo

He is shorter than the average - but like very few centimeters ;>

    Thats the irony.

  • Nope, Sorry, tried to watch this rubbish. but 3 minutes of this is far more than enough. didn't even bother with part 1. the book is so much more intelligent and teh message it conveys is lost in the movie. but it will make the Epsilons happy!

  • This is a Sick New World Not a Brave New World!

Down with the New World Order!!

    Down with Big Brother!

  • @bradwhitcombe its a movie. bring it down a notch.

  • @bradwhitcombe its not intended to be a perfect future, the title is satyrical through the use of irony... and yes, like 1984, it was written about a dystopian society, but the allegory that Huxley hid in his novel was his dark prophecy for the future and a warning of the spread of communism that had been rising in eastern europe and examples of the lack of basic human rights under a totalitarian government, not to express a philosophy not dissimilar to Thomas Hobbes' like Orwell did in 1984

  • @bradwhitcombe dude its not big brother you have to worry about...

you know what he(/she) is doing....

    its little brother......

the nosy ones......that know exactly what you are doing and talking to big brother......

    weird analogy XP

  • unbearable audio sync. The torrent will be done in three hours, bye.

  • I think that the whole world is going in this way and is impossible stop the strength.

  • Who's the character at 7:20 ? Thanks. =)

  • @JDart1776 peter gallagher :)

  • @xterrorizinboys88: Oops, I meant 7:19, just realized that.......thanks anyway, though. =)

  • I was so excited when I found out that a movie had been made off of the book. But I'm only 8 minutes in, and it is obvious that the movie cannot do justice to Huxley's book.

  • Still seems like a male-dominated, sexist society. Doesn't seem all that enlightened to me...

  • @AntiAnarchrist It is time you accepted that male domination is enlightenment. jk

  • this movie is a piece of garbage. I don't know why anyone would even mention Huxley's name with it.

  • im really waiting to see the bad part.... this is in alot of ways the type of utopia ive envisioned man could aspire to. a place for everyone and everyone in their place no wasted potential . cept i cant imagine why the world would be anti people pairing off for as long as they please

  • Oh for ford's sake Aldous Huxley died twice with this crap.

seriously? the book is awesome!!! Please Ridley Scott do it right!

  • Spock! :)

  • i can tell this movie is probably gonna be horrible. why do they make movies so different from the book versions

  • ash wednesday? are they jewish?

  • All of this is TOTALLY wrong and not connected with the book.

  • @LauryTyler ikr? and im trying to understand the book more by watching the movie, being a 90% visual person -___- this is terrible... i wish they kept things from the book, since they dont really affect the movie in any way.

  • usa shite.

  • I'm glad I read the book lol. this makes no sense if you try to follow it without the book.

  • the sound is out of sync

  • sry but bernard does not behave like that in the beginning Oo

  • 1:32 looks familiar right. Yes because Hollywood is owned by jews.

    watch?v=v7-2pfDKaYo

  • @truegwbfan u mad?

  • They're supposed to be in LONDON, why does everyone have a US accent? And Lenina is blonde. :/

This is a pretty unfaithful adaptation. I hope a better director gives it another shot. Plus with all the great special effects and CG we have today it should be much better. It could make a really great blockbuster if done right.

  • @danitiwa hey i have to read this for english class and ill tell you it beats reading the book

  • @33200 Yeah but you'll most likely fail because this is nothing like the book

  • @33200 It's better if you went and read a synopsis, went somewhere like sparknotes because this version is really sort of different from the book.

  • Fahrenheit 451 much? If you read the actual book..you'd realize Aldous Huxley was telling the reader about a society that doesn't like it's citizens to think too much about their current situation. Go read the book before you become just like the characters in the book.

  • @MrRadaikon RIGHT ON! lol

  • @Catchicken89 Really... Leonardo DiCaprio???? OMG I knew it's coming out in 2011 but come on LEO?!!? Crap it's gonna suck.

  • If a guy with that face and those glasses was telling me the world was at peace, I wouldn't believe him.

  • @midnightwallflower You don't trust Mr. Spock?

  • Oh my ford, lolol this movie is going by fast, they're skipping alot...

  • How is it possible to have the Audio out of sync so much? Theres like a 10 second delay Jesus Christ.

  • @mysql0 Youtube sucks at synchronization, but this is just unwatchable. I was at least hoping the issue would go away when I loaded part 2 but I suppose it didn't.

    Why?

  • @DarksporkLeader Its absolutely pathetic. How retarded must this channel owner be not to test his own video and ignore all the comments about out of synch audio?

  • if i had to live by the Gov i would rather live off the land like them ppl was doing throwing rocks at them i wont be a slave or will my kids be

  • Only 10 minutes in and this movie is Lame. London in 2500s looks like New York in the 1990's huh. and whats with the sex scene at the beginning? The beginning of the book showed that there was nothing sexual about pro-creation?

  • @kentj21 BECAUSE A MOVIE MIGHT SHOW THOSE IN THE FUTURE THAT THERE WAS SOMETHING SEXUAL

I AM DONE, PEOPLE ARGUE ABOUT THINGS THAT DON'T MATTER

    WHAT ABOUT COLOR TOO KENTJ21?????

  • @kentj21 If you understood the book well enough, then you'd have realized that scene was created to illustrate the difference and explain pro-creation and reproduction.

  • Well you know that it's going to be a bit different from the book, considering the main characters in the book are like... well, far too young to be doing even simulated sex acts in movies.

They're making a new one, with Leo DiCaprio, apparently. Frankly, just read the book.

  • So who thinks they will be an Alpha in this New World Order? Im sorry to disappoint you, but I must inform you that the Alpha group has already been picked. There is no room. Everyone watching this will aspire to be an Alpha in the NWO, but because of the food we have been eating and water we drink, its too late for us. The chemical spraying of the atmospher has begun. Have you been told to keep indoors on these days? No? Then yo are not one of the 4000 Alphas who have been selected.

    RESIST!!

  • @HumanSayNo I can be definitely qualified.... I have a high IQ of 145.

  • @TheLordBatman - As I said, if your names not down you're not getting in. Best to join the peaceful resistance!

  • @HumanSayNo Absurd! Just what do you believe you're stating? That is deplorable... Absolutely horrendous.

  • @TheLordBatman - Nah...nothings gona happen, just pulling your chord, don't have night terrors!

  • @HumanSayNo "Absurd!" I didn't believe you

  • @TheLordBatman - Good, there's enough gullible idiots out there!

  • @HumanSayNo Unlikely, you state false treason.... I have an IQ of 145... if you must know... that's a genius IQ.

  • @TheLordBatman - A true genius feels not the need to brag!

  • @HumanSayNo I'm an egomaniac.....

  • Sound outa wack by miles :(

  • Ash Wednesday? I thought there was no religion... what the fuck?

  • wtf is this? this is not what I imagined at all.

  • kinda out of sync with audio and video

  • I thought helicopters and rockets were the method of travel to get atop the giant utopian skyscrapers of the World State... Ford Damnit! this shoudn't even be called brave new world. The literary Masterpiece Brave New World deserves a better movie

  • @Iwarekilts i agree

  • @Iwarekilts Ford Damnit, hahaha :)

  • work earn buy our religion!

  • even 500 plus year into the future people are still fist pumping lol

  • the audio is slow

  • bernard?? in the book she is with Henery

  • they always do this...in the book the main charactor is weak, unsure, an outcast and relatable...but when they make the movie they turn him into alpha male...CONDITIONING women to think alpha males are independant...when it the outcast is the one who challenges the system....you cant be a alpha wolf and lone wolf at the same time...youd still be dependant on the system

  • you guys are right this is a piece of shit, and I am only half ways in the book

  • the video is out od sync with the sound :S

  • why is this lagging

  • lenina sounds way sexier in the book than the way they put her in the movie!!!

  • There are so many changes that annoy me about this movie; but what annoys me the most is that Lenina's hair is dark, not blonde like it was in the book.

Does anyone else find that a really annoying and unnecessary change?

  • honestly....i dont really understand what the story is about...can somebody tell me what is it about??

  • @xoelts its about living in a fabricated society while been led to believe its natural . a little like today . down load and listen to alan watt cutting through the matrix . phycology is the new weapon of the powers that be . the human brain is just a computer and all computers can be programed . watch v for vendetta and 1984 all piont to an artificial world , a great deception .

  • @xoelts read the book if you want the story

  • WHAT! she wasn't all over Benard and He his personality wasn't like that in the book!..this sucks ass. WELL I'm going back to reading..

  • What the hell, they party in L.A's Union station? lol.

Anyway, Bernard suppose to be short and nerdy!!

  • I hope some brave new director can do us a favor and do a worthy remake.

  • @alxzanki Agree indeed! This is in a word...pathetic!

  • music's great in that club.

  • It's so terribly bad I can't even get to the outraged stage. BNW is my favourite book by far and it's just not it.Once again, character rape (Bernard, a loverboy? Lol.) and devoided of any depth, contrarily to the book. Oh well.

  • their supposed to be all indians!!!

  • i much prefer the book and i wont be watching anymore of this

  • the audio seems a bit off

  • The whole "peaceful" promiscuous thing is baloney. ya.....people tend to be promiscuous, yet there also hella jealous and possesive, and that has nothing to with "cultural conditioning", it's by nature.

  • Amazing how you get two thumbs down for telling the truth. You get a good enough pill and you'll masturbate while watching your wife screw the mailman. Take that pill away and you'll kill the mailman.

  • i can't wait till this is our future =D

  • @hereandnow6002 You have fun with that :P

  • awesome book but cheap movie...want to see a big, up to date production of this, without so many differances to the book

  • @Wilkehannes I agree...this is cheesy.

I heard that Leonardo Dicaprio may be in the works to help produce (and possibly star in) a newer version of this book.

  • This blows mad ass. I'm going to read the book and wait for a remake of this cheese fest.

  • shit book, shit film, and shit out-of-sync audio.

  • @georges3601 GREAT BOOK

  • Hmm.... Huxley and Orwell. Let's think: smug, self-satisfied dystopian novels examining how horrible Britain would be if it were more like somewhere else (America, in Huxley's case, and Russia in Orwell's).

    Great book indeed...

  • Did anyone detect a subliminal message at 1:30 ?

  • I saw it (it wasnt so subliminal though), and i'm happy they exposed it.

  • @fr000tch the jewish star? I caught it after you mentioned it. Don't remeber anything like that in the book, so it is kinda off that they put it in there. Maybe it's the symbol for "FORD" lol

  • wasn't Lenina supposed to like Henry and Bernard was supposed to be a gross fat alpha? lol It's soo different!

  • @xxgetlikemii Yes.

  • sound is so off :[

  • great actors but shoddy attempt. :(

  • When Aldous Huxley was on his death bed, he had his wife inject him with LSD. Twice.,, He went out with a smile.

  • @buckfushes i think MDMA would have been the better way to go out..

  • @buckfushes WELL, I GUESS I SHOULD LIVE AND DIE LIKE YOU AND HUXLEY; HOPELESS

NOT THAT I DISAGREE WITH WHAT HUXLEY'S MOVIE; WE ARE HERE NOW WITHOUT THE DRAMATICS

  • @buckfushes: why LSD?
