  • F'N ADS!

  • wtf is with these ADDS

  • Please stop cursing just to make a simple point!

  • Real Music....:)

  • The fucking adds that crop up before these vids suck ass.

  • @liquidgee13

They're what's allowing you to watch this for free. Show some gratitude.

  • @PsychoticLoner I'll show some gratitude when artists don't charge hundreds of dollars for concert tickets, overprice their CDs and merchandise and THEN tell us we're criminals for wanting to share a burned disc with a friend. Until then shut the fuck up and go back to your pathetic work with the music industry.

  • @liquidgee13

They don't "overcharge" anything, kid. A quick check on Amazon reveals this CD (not even the song itself on iTunes) is just $8.49, which is less than you spend each month on internet fees for your vast tentacle porn collection. The simple fact is people like you are the single most greedy people in the world. You have everything you can want, but bitch when you have to spend $10 of your easily earned money. I don't even need to work for the music industry to be disgusted.

  • @PsychoticLoner Yes I do bitch about spending $10, $20 or more for a CD that has only one or two decent songs on it because I work hard for my money, unlike the RIAA who is quite content to litigate anyone and everyone who might by chance overheare a song on someone elses radio and claim copyright infringement. And you must be Psychotic Loner like your name says to believe otherwise. Why don't you get off your high horse, go back to your office in the music industry and kill yourself.

  • @liquidgee13

Uh huh. I don't believe you work hard for your money. Hell, I don't believe you work, period, because anyone who did would respect the right of people who actually produce things having the right to decide to deny them to spoiled, dumb kids. And seeing how you wish me death because I dared call you out on your immaturity and stupidity, you're obviously some nerd who only parrots what other, louder nerds say, like every other troll I've ever run across.

  • When it costs less than a dollar to produce and package CD and record companies charge $10 or more THAT'S what is NOT working. Maybe people like myself who put in a 40 hour week and watch the money we make to put into retirement funds isn't considered working to a schlep loser like you - tell us, what kind of package deal is the record company you're working for giving you to down honest consumers like myself?

  • @liquidgee13

Wow, you really are a stupid kid. It doesn't take a dollar to produce a CD. It takes a hell of a lot to produce the music in the first place, advertise it, buy the blank CDs in bulk, buy all the recording material and electronics, maintain all of the equipment, pay the wages of the people who work on all steps, put money to producing more music and products, and even then corporations barely squeek by. So, obviously, you don't work in any sort work, or you'd understand this.

  • @PsychoticLoner I'm a not a "kid" and you dam well know it. If anyone is acting like a child it is you, undoubtedly because you are a LONER like your name suggests and, undoubtedly as well, PSYCHOTIC as well. The breakdown of a CD is as follows: 10-15 cents for the cost of the raw material for the disc itself and approximately 40 cents for the plactic and paper. 55 cents tops. You do the math, asswipe.

  • @liquidgee13

Oh noes! The guy who came in spouting profanity and is throwing a tantrum because he was called out on it is calling me a kid! Because everyone knows that internet trolls are the best judges of maturity, especially ones who think users names mean something!

I love how you didn't read anything beyond the first few words of my post. CDs cost far more, with research, new software, advertisment, wages, and a buttload of other things that obviously your world view can't handle.

  • Indian Summer Love CONFUNKSHUN. Indian Summer.Chris Botti, 2 totally different songs, both have moved me! Great song Chris. call it what you will (jazz, fusion, easy listening). The only name great music needs is GREAT MUSIC.

  • Laid back ass cut, you can hit the highway straight out I 75 south on this !

  • Chris Botti is a Master Musician, can blow a trumpet like no other.

  • @lborges9999 Envious

  • they need to get rid of the beeping in this tune

  • Psychotic-I totally disagree with you about Wikipedia losing credibility. SOPA is a disaster. Let's enjoy the song my friend! Greg

  • I just looked up the definition of jazz in Wikipedia, Websters, and all the major bodies that define words. This is jazz! Go read Wikipedia.

  • @1213grandjeep

Wikipedia blew away it's credibility and objectivity last week, remember? It made the news!

That being said, I have no problem seeing this as jazz, and even if it isn't, it's a great song.

  • Give the rest of us "jazz" lovers a definition of jazz, and we will respect it as such. Botti calls it that- that is good enough for millions of people and the artists themselves.

  • i love it!

  • very interesting thanks

  • brilliant video

  • If the dominant instrument in the song is a trombone, trumpet, saxophone, ie., any horn instrument-it's a jazz song.

  • @1213grandjeep

Worst definition of jazz I've ever seen.

  • Can we please stop calling this Jazz? Thanks.

  • This song is pure perfection! Greetings from Serbia! ❤

  • this song is so mesmerizing :)

  • I WOKE UP TO THIS JUST NOW ON Smooth Jazz - Music Choice Channel. I had to hear it again! AWESOME!

  • This is the best jazz song I have ever heard in my entire life

    Santucci Pontarelli

  • @SantucciPontarelli This is Jazz?

  • HA!! I heard this on pandora while driving and didn't get the name of it till now. It was torture having this beat stuck in my head all day long and not know who this is by. Chris Botti is awesome.

  • Comment removed

  • His music is so smooth and relaxing that I can't help but think every time I hear him a good red wine with pair very well with his music-perhaps a Zinfandel or a carmenere. I make a Chilean Carmenere that everyone joys. BTW I know I have mention the red wine pairing many times and knowing that I have done this I can assume I am not suffering for Alzheimer's yet.

  • I like!

  • I think I was the only kid in 5th grade booming this song on my cd player good times :)

  • great tune

  • Chris is ok on the T .......But he has taken trumpet playing to the next level Chris please take it to the next level play with the likes of Pat Matheny Jeff Beck Lalo Schifrin and go Big Time

  • @fredfungalspore he doesn't need to play as a "featured artist" to other groups. He's already the best there is. I've never heard such tallent, nor will i ever hear it again from any other artist - and that's saying alot, considering that there are alot of groups that i've followed loyaly my whole life.

  • haven't heard this in years...great botti song.

  • @cowsaymoo2x I want to know what trumpet he plays the same reason why one would ask what car you drive, what guitar you play, or what kind of suit you are wearing. I want to know because it's and interesting piece of information to learn.

I play a Yamaha Xeno, and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

  • Glad I found this. Sounds good first thing in the morning.

  • @mesmerizingsunset at least we can apperciate the simplicity in life

  • @mesmerizingsunset

A diploma entitles you to be an imbecile in your academic papers, whereas simple, wonted ignorance entitles you to be a ignoramus on an anonymous comment forum.

  • I FINALLY HAVE THIS ALBUM!! A Thousand Kisses!! yes!!! i cant stop listening to this!!

  • @LinkMasterRated All you have to do is unplug it...

  • @igotastove Imagine standing on the edge of a bluff overlooking a small valley with a crystal clear stream running through it and a breeze blowing in your face, Nothing but pure refreshment the way it was ment to be!!!!!!

  • BRILLIANT!!! SPLENDID!!!

  • @japanesesen ABSOLUTELY!!!! 100%

  • While possibly "out of bounds" as it were, I'd be interested in seeing what might come from Lyle Mays - Pat Metheny and theirs crossing paths with Botti and vice versa. I can say the same with Basia and Danny White...............

I sometimes think of what an interesting mix Botti might have momentarily had with Michel Petrucciani.

And yes, each of these individuals stand on their own, thank you.

  • One of my favorites and Helped a little also. :)

  • god! can jazz get any better than this? i dont think so. chris botti puts the smooth in smooth jazz.. love it

  • This is what you get into your sportscar and drive to on the open road! Whew! Feel the breeze, and excilerating experience. I always said this song should be on every race car video game ever made and on future ones. I wish it was on Gran Turismo or Need for Speed. I guess the only thing I can do is turn the sound off and play my CD to this while racing. Vrroom!

  • Listen and be at peace.

  • This man can flat out play. He is my favorite jazz performer. Just how smooth is this song? You can come home after a long day of work, put this song on and chillllllll!

  • Comment removed

  • Harmonically, melodically not even in the same street as the likes of Gillespie, Miles and Baker (along with countless other 'jazz' players like Roy Hargrove) But good tone, good friends, good musical producers and good looks will take you far in the music business and he has his own talent

  • great post.......

  • Just Beautiful.

  • does anyone know what trumpet he normally plays?

  • @castirontoaster check on wikipedia.

  • Why does everyone want to know what trumpet he plays? First of 90% of the sound is affected by the mouthpiece and the rest the trumpet itself. But everything depends on the player. Having the best trumpet will not make you any better.

  • @cowsaymoo2x Actually it's more like 90% of the sound is affected by the sound in your head, let's say 8% by the mouthpiece, and 2% by the horn.

  • I miss the 1940's song with the same name. It was Better!

  • Definitely one of his best songs. Esta é a canção que me fez apaixonar por sua música!

  • I love this song. I can hear it over and over again. I've seen Chris in concert a few times now and he's fabulous!!!

  • I think this is my favorite Chris Botti song. He's a gifted musician, and I don't think I've heard him play anything I didn't like.

  • Check out Ritchie Nevada

  • i love this man.. 1st time i heard this song was in the music choice channel, i had to grab a pen & paper to write it down & look it up..never turned back.. been a DIE HARD fan of since last year!

  • charm and beauty of trumpet :))

  • I remember hearing this song for the first time several years ago. Still love it! It's a late night party outside in the summertime and everyone is invited! I think it's still echoing somewhere out in outer space.. listen carefully

  • What nice mental picture...I can imagine that summer time party now!

  • simple and beautiful

  • I was a temp working in an electronics factory in jersey and getting friendly with a sexy Dominican redhead named Elida when this came out. A New York jazz station played this twice every night. The station fizzled, So did Elida and I. Another great song on my life soundtrack...........

  • this comment could be a smooth folk or country song

    D:

  • @8tsRwild A dominican redhead? HA! I'm callin' this one a bluff my man!

Eloquent wording, though... kudos on that.

  • @jw1487 Not Lucille Ball red! More like strawberry blonde. I found Elida on Facebook. Her hair is chocolate brown now and she hasn't friended me. Saw Botti @ Bergen PAC. How bout that drummer!

  • @jw1487 She could have bought the red hair. I know several women who dye their hair red.

  • @8tsRwild your comment alone has sold the song to me bro....you should become a writer:)

  • @8tsRwild hahahaa:) nice one!

  • @8tsRwild love your outlook......just another great song on my life soundtrack

  • @8tsRwild

What a great share. She must have been great to be on your life's soundtrack.

  • It is like the fresh air that fills the spirit after a rain.

  • Wow! What a beautiful way to describe Botti's "Indian Summer." I have been to 5 of his live performances and never been disappointed!

  • @kermitefrog64 what a great way to describe a truly stunning song!

  • i can play this on my trumpet, except for the solo, he kills me on that one :D

  • we can really travel to other world by his music... not so good for living in real world... but... me... i still do... listen to him ;]

  • Hey pzcato. You clearly don't know what jazz really is if that's what you really think of this. I mean if you just don't like it then fine, it ain't for you. But don't say stupid things like that.

  • Not to offend any traditionalists, but this is how Jazz should sound. I hate the ones that have singing, like the Chicago, all that jazz sucked my balls.

  • Blast Off Baby

  • Fantastic :D

  • Fantastic tune*****stars.
