No camera guy (thanks God!) no, annoying bit-hard-rock nonsense music, just pure sound of the water and highlights of flowing stream.
In my case (short trout videos) I have tendency to being over creative with footage cuts and effects, this sometimes kills the subject. Good luck on the next stream trip. J.
The heaviest fly, the lead or sometimes bead head weighted one, according to the strength of current is usually the middle fly on a 3 fly leader. This gets all flies near to the river bed, but allows the top and bottom light weight flies to flutter in the current. Usual set up, OK.
Another variation is using the weighted fly on the top dropper with one or two lighter flies below it.
Of course the weighted fly could also be used on the point, with 2 lightweight flies above on droppers.
its very nice your very good in this tactic i have tried this many times and it wont work i have tied the czech nymph inj hundrerds of collors and sizes but i dont catch anything and it suprizes me how long you stay on one spot and still catch fish good job but about the i dont catch anything can you give me and al the other viewers some tips please
Usually, when you fish for grayling using small beadhead nymphs and czech nymphs, you should try to fish a longer period of time the same place.
Grayling tend to stay in groups, so, usually after you catch one, there's a big possibility to catch another.
The secret of productive fishing with nymphs, czech style, is to get the nymphs as quickly as possible to the desired depth, and control them under the tip of the rod to the place where you want to catch the fish.
You are a real artist. Short, simple casts, very peaceful and one with the water. Please tell us a little about fly fishing in Romania. i hitch hiked through there in 1980 and it was beautiful with friendly folks.
Your video is so simple and mesmerizing hypnotic.

How many casts before you give up on a specific place, like the pool where you were fishing???

@tromboneJTS
It depends on the place...
It's usually inspirational, but where you find a grayling you find more of them in the same place.
Just change the nymphs and try again

Can you please tell me how long your leader is and how many nymphs you use, also are they heavy flies like leaded or gold heads???
Thanks

In that case my leader was about 1.2 meters (4 '), not longer.
I was using the end of the flyline as an indicator, and two small nymphs size 14 ,one with bead, one without.
The heavies fly was down and on the dropper I had a small czech nymph, caddis imitation.

@blablabla > In the video i'm using a 8' Scott Rod, wich is super short for this kind of fishing.
We usually use 10' or 11' rods in Romania and Europe, for Czech Nymphing and French Nymphing styles.
Your success depends on how good you can read the water.
There's no use of fishing areas where fish don't stay.
So, I'm trying to concentrate on the places where fishes would stay, and try different fly patterns until I get them to bite.

In this video there are only a few graylings caught, but in reality I caught 8 fishes there.First of them where right in the place where I waded in.
Tight lines !
