Well, that was my experience. I rarely saw Durst on any television show, cable or no...not where I live anyway. More than once in the last 8 years, I pined for an observation re: current affairs from him. I actually thought he quit.

Today, I felt a yearnin' for some truth - with a sugary helping of comedy to make it go down nicer. Then I remembered Will Durst and looked him up on YouTube and found this channel. Played your vid.

I have observed over the years that certain 'types' of comedians come and go...depending on the administration in power (my own little personal conspiracy theory - - I AM on YouTube, after all)

About 8 years or so ago...I came across a comedian who hit my truth-nerve so hard I think I spit blood while I was laughing -- Mr. Will Durst. And I remember thinking...I betchya any money...ANY money that this guy will fade from exposure on main stream media sooner rather than later.

I have been an ardent fan of stand-up comedy for, ahem, a few decades. I have also been somewhat politically aware for the same amount of time.

Truth can be elusive; if we be vigilant in our search for it, we can find it in any number of unusual places; sometimes we find it in our political humourists.
