  • I don't know who did this, but thanks. I remember that episode. It is such a perfect match. In addition, I, a 65 year old, do this song in Karaoke, so it is very dear to me.

  • Two awesome George Barris creations side by side!

  • Herman was Grandpa's anti-lock brakes!!lol

  • Gas was only 19 cents a gallon in the sixties

  • @church74steve goddammit i missed it by like 40 years

  • Perfect song for this!!

  • @APennyW What's the name of this episode?

  • @sodapop554 Hot Rod Herman

  • The Munsters kick ass.

  • Good Job!

  • How did Grandpa Munster afford gas for this on the old age vampire pension ?

  • You should of used the original version of this song

  • epic!

  • Great post!

  • TALK ABOUT NEAR MISS...LOOK HOW CLOSE GRAMPA GET AT THE END OF THE RACE WHEN HE PULLS A U TURN RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE OTHER CAR @ 032....FREKIN LOVE THIS CLIP.

  • THIS IS THE BEST EPISODE.... I LOVED THIS EPISODE EVEN BEFORE I HAD A CAR NHRA DIV ONE STOCK ELIM. 1491 G/ STOCK 66 427 /390 IMPALA STATION WAGON... ALAN JUNIOR STRATFORD CT.

  • would love to see this race go down on the south conduit by the airport..

and meet up in tss parking lot

  • its not shit music is just ur all old and dont like good music

  • is it in ''revenge of the munsters'' that the dragula also appears in?

  • Herman must have gave birth to the 'Village People'.

  • this is from matrix !!!!

  • And now we have realty TV, WTH

  • At 0:09 the music seems so fitting.

  • Better as a silent film then all this noise.

  • fuggin kickass \\m// (>_<) \\m//

  • rob zombie made the best song in tribute to a great tv show

  • Thanx APennyW.. what a crack up!! Music fits to the actual footage. Well done!

  • The Munsters + Rob Zombie = A Perfect Match!

  • Check out Eddie Munster today on his new show here on YouTube called Life's a Butch. It's really funny.

  • 1965 was the last year of black and white television shows.Beginning in `66 every thing was in color. Do I feel old! If younger folks like it,that`s fine with me.

  • Rob Zombie is a Munsters fan !

  • Hell yeah!

  • hey dude your an idiot to call this crap music ,, i guess u live in a box and don,t get out

  • I wonder if it was planned to have the cars nearly hit each other when the Dragula was doing the u turn. The Munster coach came within inches of hitting the Dragula.

  • @ssilentrage426 that drag was probably going about 30 miles an hour and just cut around him. They didnt have too much tech in 65 so I'm gonna guess that they filmed it slow, then played the whole scene in FAST MOTION.But the first time I seen that episode on tv in 66 and Herman bumpajumped the Drag-u-la,I pissed my pants laughing.I was 7.......The PUNKRODS RULE!

  • Love this video, love that coffin car, music is ok.

  • I wish Youtube didnt yank the other version with Herman racing Dragula from the movie in which the lyrics mached up to the scenes in the film it was truely awsome.

  • This has to be the best Munsters episode ever!!!!

  • @mwadevilg How about the one where The Standells rent their house?

  • Man these are the two cars I would love to have..imagine I can get my shopping done in half time...hehehehe...

  • THAT KICKS ASS,AND ROB ZOMBIE ROCKS!

  • Now I have a mental image of the Munsters in the Matrix. :D

  • Cool car, funny clip. I wish I could hang out and drag race the Munsters!

  • i agree

  • Rob Zombie is perfect for this vid. I was there with my dad in 65 thru 72 for most of the races. I inherited his 426 HEMI powered 56 tbird not too long ago. Lions was the first and the only track at the time to give the street racers a viable alternative to lawless street racing...Hence the motto: Drive the streets, race at Lions..

  • I read somewhere that this Dragula car is now a decoration hanging on the wall at a bar in New York city.

  • This car was hanging from the ceiling in 2004 at The Planet Hollywood in Atlantic City NJ. until it closed. Not sure where it is now. Pixs and info at munsterkoach dot c o m

  • Anyone noticed just how close they got to hitting each other when the Dragula made that sharp turn?!? The Munsters coach was almost in the other lane when they past.

  • LMAO, one of my fav munsters episodes

  • haha.. grandpa.. use to watch this on tv land..

  • Herman son in law baby, you saved my life. Grandpa was the coolest

  • I had forgotten about Herman trying to stop Drag-u-la and his boots smoking. Ah, memories,

  • grandpa pwned the other guy

  • Al Lewis at LEAD EAST

    great memories

  • Al Lewis and Fred Gwynne would love this. Al was pretty down the earth guy.Fred was in to horror he even played in Pet Cemetary. Nice video Herman looked like Rebel With Out A Cause.

  • Apparently Rob Zombie COULDN'T get the Dragula for his video so he used the Monster coach instead.

  • And it's the hot rod herman mix, as well. Nice.

  • Ruined a classic video with this crap music.

  • The only reason I added in Rob Zombies "Dragula" was because in his music video he used The Munster Koach as the car, NOT the Drag-u-la!

  • @jeffpolara you aint kiddin

  • the music is so annoying! I must turn off the sound! poor Herman!

  • greatest drag race ever

    good choice of song too

  • Grand Pa can drive my 67 Bird anytime ...

    HE Rocks!!!

  • And Nobody even mentions Herman burning up his shoes.

  • I can dig it.

  • Grandpa is TOTALLY HOT!!!!!!

  • As much as I love the song Dragula, I don't think it should've been used in this clip, it would've been better to hear the actual scene and let me add that it's a FREAKING REMAKE!! I HATE REMAKES!
