Promoting yourself is extremely hard, don't they still have Canadian Idol? I believe you should try some songs that stretch your limitations, Marvin Gaye, Let's get it on or Stevie Wonder boogie on Reggae woman are two that come to mind, I am a Karaoke DJ, and that is a place to start, and you will have better response with a songs like those. Or try something from R Kelly or Seal I would like to hear something else... Stand up when you sing, it will help
