For the Lakers to be on top again: 1) They need to get Bynum the ball, PERIOD.18-20 touches a game and he'll put up numbers that rival that of Kareem and Shaq in their primes. Kobe knows this, which is why he refuses to do so. And 2) Kobe needs to be the primary playmaker on this team, NOT the primary scoring option! Those days are long gone and, truthfully speaking, am glad they are. If Jerry West could make that very transition which led to the '72 Lakers winning it all, what's keeping Kobe???
@PeekaPeep Oh, and 3) GET A QUICK YOUNG POINT GUARD!!! I don't care who it is, but the Lakers need to stop getting their butts whipped in transition by the opposing team's speedy young PG. My first choice would be to put Darius Morris in the starting rotation and see what he can do for them in the meantime. If not, go after a Ramon Sessions, an Aaron Brooks, or a D.J. Augustin-ANYBODY that can effectively penetrate the lane and set up the big men down low consistently. That's all I have to say.

@GETBIGBITCH1 Nah, I wouldn't give up Pau for Rondo (Deron Williams, MAYBE). Pau's game actually compliments Bynum's back-to-the-basket style nicely and when you got two talented bigs like them on the court at the same time playing their way, Lakers are damn near unstoppable. The Lakers honeslty don't need Dwight at all if Bynum continues to play this way. I've always known that Bynum was by far the superior player when healthy (thank you, Kareem!). I'd rather deal Kobe for a PG.
@PeekaPeep ...and sign Gilbert Arenas for the veteran's minimum. I wouldn't mind giving him a chance since the Lakers gave Ron Artest/Metta World Peace a shot at redemption (and did redeem himself back in the 2010 Finals). A player of Arenas' caliber doesn't lose those type of skills so quickly. He could easily win comeback player of the year this season, God willing.
