  • This seems like she's singing lower and slower.

  • l love the runaways

  • Lita Ford is goddess!

  • Hello Daddy, hello Mom. I'm your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb.

Hello world I'm your wild girl. I'm your ch ch ch ch ch cherry bomb!

  • Dear Lita... if your reincarnation can read this... i love you!

  • @crashart69 Sandy is deceased, and Lita on tour.

  • Great solo by Lita. Everybody remembers Cherie and Joan, but Lita was a good and essential musician for the band.

  • great band ever

  • Hell yeah. That's all I can say.

  • this is the best video mix of this song i ever saw. i saw it as a kid. when my mom saw it she turned it off, and sent me to bed:)

  • if you want to hear new actually amazing hard rock music, check out the glycerine queens!! they're bringing the runaways back!

  • I remember they were from Hacienda Heights Calif.

  • Are you kidding me? LOL

  • @rockxchickxx BACK in the '70s and early '80s, this style of music was called, New Wave. I must be really, really old because no one seems to remember New Wave music anymore.

  • Im a girl and although im not lesbian i just want to say that Joan looks Hot!!:) ♥

I love this song, they are all so talented, I love The Runaways and i recommend to go watch/ buy the movie, totally worth it!:)

  • I really enjoyed this one! --> Viewed it at

watch GG last GG movies. com (delete GG's)

  • HELLO DADDY HELLO MOM IM YOUR CHCHCHCHCH CHERRY BOMB! HELLO WORLD iM YOUR WiLD GiRL:] JAJA

  • :) :) :)

  • Cherry Bomb.......yes i am and i kinda look like that...just not outfit

  • Fucking kick ass song.

WHY CAN'T MUSIC BE LIKE THIS ANYMORE??!?!?!

  • Its around, maybe a bit different but this sound isn't dead. Check out a band called Sybris on itunes. The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are still holding it down. Also don't dismiss Le Tigre. Don't give up on the good stuff and it'll never give up on you.

  • i swear...lol

  • @PANICthenFALL

Amen! If only we could get REAL music like this back!

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Yes indeed. Can't agree with you enough.

  • @PANICthenFALL

I find it sad that true and honest female musicians like The Runaways are such a rarity these days while slut pop whores like Kesha breed like rabbits. Goddamn.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Yes, it's a goddamn shame. The more time flies, music gets more ridiculous.

  • @PANICthenFALL

Sometimes I think it's just pathetic. Sometimes, when you listen to what some people call music, you can't help yourself from laughing. Brokencyde is perfect for this, especially the songs "40 Oz" and "Bree Bree."

If you think music cannot sink rock bottom, go listen to Brokencyde.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Wait, are you suggesting I go listen to Brokencyde?

  • @PANICthenFALL

I didn't know if you knew them or not. I merely use them to illustrate how very easy it is to get a record deal nowadays and how music has sunk so low that you can only laugh. I know I do. It's just so pathetic.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies I've heard of them, a good friend of mine loves their music. I thought you were suggesting them to me. Music like that makes me cringe.

  • @PANICthenFALL

That music makes me laugh nowadays. It's just beyond the "win and fail" lingo IMO that makes it so lulzworthy.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Haha, yeah! Bands and stupidass artists today are just sickening. I may be on 16, but fuck, other girls my age drives me fucking insane with their obsessions with Justin Bieber and shit.

  • @PANICthenFALL

I was once called a wannabe Bieber by one of his rabid fangirls, among other interactions I've had with his fanatical fans. I'm fine with true talent like The Runaways and so forth because the mainstream is just dead. I mean, if it isn't slut pop, it's generic rap that makes your eyes roll.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies A 'wannabe Bieber'? If I were you, I'd hang myself. That's a pretty bad insult. And yes, today's pop and rap makes me want to shoot myself in the eye. Only a small percentage of good music listeners like us exist. :-(

  • @PANICthenFALL

Lulz. I don't think I should hang myself over such a petty fail of an insult, but you are absolutely right on the epic failure of today's "rap" and pop music. I mean, it just sucks so much ass that it not only sickens me, but it makes me laugh. Go listen to Soulja Boy's YAHH! YAHH! song and tell me you can't laugh. It's just so sad it's funny.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Please, PLEASE do not mention that ridiculous name. I personally think he's worse than Lil' Wayne, and do NOT get me started on Lil' Wayne.

  • @PANICthenFALL

I find them both to be utterly talentless hacks. Prom Queen? Can we get Carrie White to burn his prom?

  • @TheCanadianPrairies Haha. Let's see of Carrie can burn HIM.

  • @PANICthenFALL

That would be much win, XD.

  • @TheCanadianPrairies and I thought I was the only loser who thought that movie was good. Thirty four years later I found out I'm not the only one who liked Carrie.

  • @ufofan1980

The only loser? How does liking Carrie make someone a loser? It's a great film. Has a good moral.

  • @PANICthenFALL SAME. the only problem is, I'm a singer in a rock-n-roll band and...I wanna change things. but i don't know how. :/

  • @PANICthenFALL The new stuff is not music.

  • @FreshFilmFaces Agreed! I really, really, really can't stand today's music. For instance, Ke$ha. That thing makes me wanna hurl.

  • @PANICthenFALL YES! I HATE HER!!

  • @PANICthenFALL I am with you 100%

  • @PANICthenFALL there is still music like this....

  • why

  • I love this version as well, but obviously the track was slowed down which makes Cherie Currie sound like a drag queen singing the tune, instead of a teenage girl.

  • i like this version of the song better than the japan tour version

  • Great girl rock song of the 70's. Shame there aren't enough girls in Brisbane who rock out like these girls (except for Chick Flick).

  • Hello Daddy, hello Mom...

  • joan jett has not aged!!! still hot as ever!!!

  • one of best songs

  • BITCHEN.. i love this.. god, i was 4

  • i would do both lita and joan!!!!!that would be the 3 some from heaven!!!

  • modrocker83: Don't leave out Cherie Currie, she's the main hottie focus of this vid.

    LOVE YOU Cherie!!

  • There is something wrong with you if you don't like this song. My 60 year-old Dad and my 3 year old daughter both love it. Nuff said.

  • i first heard this on the influential UK compalation album "this new wave"

  • This is AWESOME!! I love the mix, it is deeper, or maybe slowed down in recording? But oh, man, WOW! Great to find them here!

  • Dang, Starqz, wat r u trying to do to me? First the ice cream thing and now this. lol

  • I thought you'd like this video- lol!!

  • Where are they now?

  • Joan is touring right now. Lita is still playing guitar and was playing in a band w/ her husband. Cherie played in bands for a long time; she has a woodcarving hobby she focuses on now. Jackie is a lawyer. Vicki Blue is a filmaker. Sandy West died of lung cancer last October. Rest in Peace Sandy, WE LOVE YOU and we absolutely miss you girl!

  • I always admired them <3

  • Interesting mix...I think it's lower than usual.

  • Damn! Lita looks HOTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!! and Cherie's stripper pose rocks! awesome girls.

  • ...EVER!! LOL

  • The Runaways are the best band ever!!!

  • Way before any of Prince's women wore camisoles on stage, here was teenage Cherie....and of course, the Runaways could rock as hard as anyone....

  • Thank you for posting this! I idolized The Runaways when I was a kid! :)

  • The original ladies. this is a very rare find!
