This is a lovely relaxed horse, but this is not real Dressage. The horse is allways well above the vertical and therefor not over its back.. Without the horse's back comming up it will not engage and eventually creat impulsion.

That is why it is a horse illustrating prerequisites and not a finished product. It is to be an example of a horse with no previous dressage experience, who is ready to begin dressage. These videos are to help students know if they are ready to take the clinic. Sorry if that was not clear in the description of the video.

Of course this is not a finished horse.

But you have made little attempt to consider the training scale of rythm, relaxation (is good) acceptance of the bridal. with out the acceptance of the bridal the horse can not step under (engage) and cant shift it's weight towards it's haunches. It is then condemmed to run around on it's forehand. Also the horse must from the very beginning come over it's back in order to develop correctly.

Great idea for a video! I know so many people were confused about the preerquisites for the clinics. WHat a nice way to demonstrate. It is also great for those who need a visual as to where natural dressage comes from- the beggining stages.
