Awesome song that was included in the album "Der Kommissar as track 6 on side 2. This was released in 1983 here in South Africa. Regrettably I am probably the only person in this country that likes this song- or even knows about it for that matter.
I was there in this great theater in London with about 4 floors for the audience around the scene down there in the front, and these After The Fire guys just gave a great live concert, now some 25 years ago now... Great stuff!!.. and also the Birth of the Minimoog in English composed POP-music too..... Any-one remember this concert too??
Love this song. Takes me back. That synthrock sound of the late 70s/ early 80s. iTunes don't have this version, the original studio 45 one - the best. Thanks for the upload.
'Relayer Mobile Disco' - I was sound engineer and sometimes on the decks, supported ATF several times before they were signed. Happy memories and easily the best band that we had the pleasure of working with.
'Dance of the Marionette', 'Dreamaway' and 'Pilgrim' era - all now thankfully officially released.
@00grantham Hi - try the After The Fire website - loads of albums inc. Signs Of Change and a double CD of the original albums, the un released 1982 album, radio sessions and the Greenbelt reunion gig.

This is the original and much better version. The version on the album was not nearly as good.
