  • Wow, awesome find. Thumbs way up.

  • bret hart and randy savage were very close. when they would travel on the road, liz would watch bret's kids.

  • Lance Russell is so great his voice is so professional decent to the ears.

  • wow every now and again i forget how good the mocho man was on his feet

  • who is the fat guy?

  • @EldestSauce king kong bundy

  • hahaha yeah they knew each other before wwf. Wow. Too funny

  • so all these wrestlers already knew each other before they joined the wwf?

  • I just noticed that Savage is wearing Bret Harts boots...

  • @MrWrestlingfan1998 I seen a video of Hart talking about Savage passing, it sounds like they may have been friends. Good to know since it sounded like no one liked him.

  • @hoghash78, quite the opposite. Most everyone liked Randy Savage a lot. But he didn't spend much time socializing or hanging out with the wrestlers because he was usually with his wife Elizabeth. He also alienated a lot of the wrestlers because he was very protective of her. Savage had a temper and didn't like it if any of the wrestlers even talked to her without his permission. But those who respected his wishes say he was actually a very nice man.

  • Rip Randy Poffo "aka" The Macho man Randy Savage.....

  • REST IN PEACE GUYS MY GOD BLESS YOU FOR THE JOY YOU BOTH CREATED FOR FANS WORLDWIDE VINCE DO THE RIGHT THING PUT THEM IN THAT HALL OF FAME U USE FOR A QUICK PAYDAY

  • The Memphis area had talent. I thought Rude, Savage, and Austin Idol were the best. Upset Austin Idol never went to Crocket or Vince

  • savage and rude hall of fame 2012

  • RIP to two legends

  • R.I.P - Randy Savage, you were one of the best.

  • best airplane spin ever...and the best sell job ever. why didn't these two wrestle in wwf ??

  • @90038jhon I read in the kayfabe magazines that Rude challenged Savage for his WWF title at some house shows, like at Madison Square Garden. But yeah, it could have been great if they had given them a major storyline together. Can you imagine the Rick Rude/Jake Roberts storyline, but instead of Jake and his wife it was Randy and Liz. Total mental insanity...oh yeah!!! R.I.P. Randy Liz and Rick. All gone wayyy too soon.

  • @SteakDinnerBoom Savage was afraid the Liz would of gave Rude some

  • @spoodyface Rude vs. Savage in the WWF would have been a hoot. If you thought Jake The Snake Roberts vs. Rick Rude feuding because Rick wanted to kiss a lady that turned out to be the Snake's wife Cheryl, imagine what would have happened if the Macho Man had caught the Ravishing One with Elizabeth.

  • @spoodyface That's actually what happened with Jake's wife and Rick.

  • @rocklatex I agree, nobody does the airplane spin anymore but it was cool here

  • Wow...the fans in Memphis were really spoiled with the tremendous amount of talent they had back in the day. So many of these guys went on to huge success on the grandest stage in the business.

  • rude was the man!! funny as a fucker 7:07 hahaha

  • was that bundy?

  • 2 of the best bad-guys of the late 80's early 90's

  • That was the best airplane spin I've ever seen. Macho should have used that more.

  • I wonder why they never let them go at it in the WWF, especially when Savage had the belt.

  • all upper body, no legs...but still better than anything WWE or TNA has right now...

  • That sucked! Savage can destroy Rude easily. Very disappointed in this one!

  • @handsome102180...Sorry! I gotta' disagree with you on this one Rude was a Top entertainer look at how he was carrying Macho during the match, playing to the crowd even though he was hated, look at when he playfully rubs the ref's head. Things like that carry you far in this business. Macho Man is one of the all time greats, no doubt, but at that point in their careers Rude was much more "polished".

  • Freaking sagging ass ropes... and Savage could still leap over them as if they were solid steel.

  • I've always wondered why Savage and Rude never feuded over Elisabeth in during Savage's WWE title run?

  • Rude was so awesome

  • i love how savage chases hart at the beginning those were the good ole days

  • How are both these guys not in the Hall of Fame yet?!? I've always heard bad things about Memphis wrestling's quality and product (mostly from the wrestlers themselves) but this is great.

  • Rude polishing the refs head, lol!

  • savage is light and agile, like a fly. amazing.

  • I agree.the leap over the top rope and landing on his feet.amazing.

  • @drewey07 I know savage was like a cat back then.he was awesome

  • know somebody in which year this fight was?

  • I believe it took place in September 1984.

  • I love these two! Rude & Savage were WICKED! There in Ring personas were so much alike along with their looks. They look like brothers. I wish they tagged together they would have RULED the WORLD!

  • savage could get anyone over. i have a man crush on him. macho mania forever. ...now if we can just get him his dues and a freakin' hall of fame spot with wwf/e.

  • Does anyone remember a wrestler from USWA who had as part of his wrestler name "The Romantic"? He was blonde and wore black and white trunks.

  • Big john stud.

  • The was a crazy airplane spin!
