Yes, it does utilize midi date to manipulate objects.....there are a lot of real time parameters that allow for "in the moment" artistic decisions. I really want to capture a sort of 'painting while flying' sensation.

As for developing music, I'm currently sorting out a way for the software to be more harmonically aware, so that it may be able to recognize patterns in my patterns and perhaps lead me musically to new places.

This is dreamlike and also a great pioneer technology in music. How does it work? Does it elaborate 3D motion from midi data, does it conversely use a VR interface to do help developing music, or both?
