Passing through the golf course while on the train

The nearest train line from where I am from is actually the Main/Bergen County Line so I go on that train line frequently. And the day this video was taken, the whole story was that I went to Columbia University for something and took a subway to 34th Street in Manhattan and had lunch, then took the NJTransit train from Penn Station to Secaucus and transferred there to the EXPRESS train on the Main/Bergen Line (where this video was taken). How do you know what line this is?

This happening is very rare. I have never heard of an incident where a train was hit by a golf ball.
