Jesus spoke from the perspective of the human condition and observable truth as well as spiritual truth. The Bible only "documents" a very short period of Yeshua's life. Where was He during most of His life? Have you researched that?

My perception comes from my own inner guidance telling me a loving God's greatest desire is for everyone of His children to return to Him...AND the belief that He cannot fail to have His greatest desire met.

@kelhawk1 Good question I may not be able to answer everything in this limited space. Life is all about choices and consequences. It is God's desire for all to come to Him but most don't, because people don't want to come to Him in this life, so why would they want to come to Him in the next life? God is honoring their decision to live apart form Him. Hell is torture because we were not meant to live separated from Him. God is life and in His complete absence Hell is what you have.
@DaneStolthed God is Love. By the strictest definition Love is unconditional. If you truly believe that God loves unconditionally, then how could you believe He judges and condemns? Or is it in some way, (unfathomable to we His "children") an act of unconditional Love when He condemns us to eternal separation and torture because we have "sinned"? The contemporary spiritual sources have this in common: life in bodies is not true reality, but an illusion for the purpose of experiencing contrast.

I made a reference to the Genesis story of creation that God is still resting. The fundamentalists who comment here have not disputed this, and I can't wait to point out that: Evening and morning came on the first thru the sixth day of creation, but NOT the seventh day. The early scribes took care to include it in all the days except the day that God rested and no one has disputed that omission. The implications here are far reaching. Pre-existance of souls, God is an observer, etc. etc.

@kelhawk1 i'll admit this much to you: of all the god concepts i've come across, the one in CWG is actually fairly decent. it asks nothing of us and expects nothing in return. it isn't an asshole. in the words neale attributed to it, "god's greatest joy is the moment you realize you need no god." i'm not sure if that's a perfect quote, but i'm too lazy to look it up. a lot more respectable than the god of the abrahamic faiths though.
@doaftheloaf When I was an adolescent(I'm 59) I wondered if maybe "God" was not an individual entity but all souls that were free from physical bondage. I have a feeling that you, like I did at that time, know in your heart what lies beyond, and trust that all will be OK. I don't exactly "buy" the concept of God presented in CWG, but I love the overall message that it really doesn't matter what we do, it's all good, fear not, for everything there is a season.

@007koko007 I apologize for the assumptions. I stick close to the tenents of my faith. If you want to seek salvation you have to accept Christ as your personal saviour first getting saved. But you must be faithful in your heart. There are too many fake Christians out there who are paying lip service to the faith but they walk out of step with the Lord. From my point of view, it seems as though traditional religion and Separation Theology are no longer working. It's leaving people with more questions than answers. So, if we could find a way to better understand spirituality and our true connection to God, through challenging outdated beliefs and dogmas, how would that not serve each of us? No thing in this world has any meaning, save the meaning we give it. We're making it up as we go along my friends, and that is the best part. ;)

Jesus spoke from the perspective of the human condition and observable truth as well as spiritual truth. My perception comes from my own inner guidance telling me a loving God's greatest desire is for everyone of His children to return to Him...AND the belief that He cannot fail to have His greatest desire met.

It is God's desire for all to come to Him but most don't, because people don't want to come to Him in this life, so why would they want to come to Him in the next life? God is honoring their decision to live apart form Him. Hell is torture because we were not meant to live separated from Him. God is life and in His complete absence Hell is what you have.

Or is it in some way, (unfathomable to we His "children") an act of unconditional Love when He condemns us to eternal separation and torture because we have "sinned"? The contemporary spiritual sources have this in common: life in bodies is not true reality, but an illusion for the purpose of experiencing contrast.

I made a reference to the Genesis story of creation that God is still resting. The fundamentalists who comment here have not disputed this, and I can't wait to point out that: Evening and morning came on the first thru the sixth day of creation, but NOT the seventh day. The early scribes took care to include it in all the days except the day that God rested and no one has disputed that omission. The implications here are far reaching. Pre-existance of souls, God is an observer, etc. etc.

i'm an atheist. no god has ever communicated with me in any way that i could detect. there is no evidence of an actual spiritual/supernatural realm. so why believe in it?
i've read walsch's books; if his god is real he (using he cuz i'm used to it - brought up christian) needs nothing from me, including belief, and in fact doesn't care if he has it, so it's irrelevant if i believe or not.

@kelhawk1 i'll admit this much to you: of all the god concepts i've come across, the one in CWG is actually fairly decent. it asks nothing of us and expects nothing in return. it isn't an asshole. in the words neale attributed to it, "god's greatest joy is the moment you realize you need no god." i'm not sure if that's a perfect quote, but i'm too lazy to look it up. a lot more respectable than the god of the abrahamic faiths though.

I have a feeling that you, like I did at that time, know in your heart what lies beyond, and trust that all will be OK. I don't exactly "buy" the concept of God presented in CWG, but I love the overall message that it really doesn't matter what we do, it's all good, fear not, for everything there is a season.

Your perception of Neale's philosophy seems to be based on this 5min. video. If you had actually read any of his books you would find that Neale coined the phrase "individuations of God", and the subject of Hitler and killing is thoroughly discussed. There is a literal hell in the Bible and Jesus spoke of it, and Tamara Laroux and others have experienced it.

@kelhawk1 I was curious about him and the movie doesn't address hell. Actually I thought he had received real revelations from God - Jesus - because the movie really didn't contradict the bible. Maybe he really did have some revelation from God, but the plagarism incident makes me think he has some problems differentiating between reality and his imagination. I didn't hear about the plagarism incident until I read a comment here. So what does he say about Hitler types and Hell and sin?

@KrisMayeaux I finally read the plagarism incident and can easily give him the benefit of the doubt on that one. BFD. It happens to many people, especially people who have a history of drinking/drugs which I think Neale has went through. Hitler,Hell and sin? Are you kidding? I'd have to write a book! Abraham-Hicks on YouTube may be a simpler forum to learn the same perspective about these things. Search these subjects there. Of course you will think the woman is channeling Satan...

@BTC141 Not much different than the Bible's credibility being trusted. What more solid basis do you have that the authors of the Bible were any more righteous than Neale? The Bible is full of mistranslation and misinterpretation. "eye for an eye" could just as well be interpretated as: "If I take your eye, I should give you mine", for example. Neale's God reworded the Ten Commandments into the Ten Commitments. Before you judge, which is a sin BTW, actually find the courage to read Neale's stuff.

If you cared to read the New Testament, in the King James, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John's books are based on eyewitness accounts of Jesus life, death and rebirth. They are bonafide. You obviously don't know how to analyze the bible and you don't know the references. I have read neale's stuff and that's all it is...stuff. There is nothing of value in any of it. DON'T BE FOOLED!!

@kelhawk1 That's a completely invalid statement because those are secularist scholars paid by the government to discredit Christianity. Have you ever read the gospels and truly analyzed the books? I sense you know nothing biblical other than what wikianswers is offering and that is pretty lame. I used to be like you, I couldn't make sense of the bible, I didn't think it was worth reading...but I read it and really looked at it and it layered with symbols and meaning. It truly is the living word.

@BTC141 I believe we are divine individuations of God. Jesus said "All these things and MORE, ye also can do." When questioned about how we can attain the kingdom of heaven He said: "Ye must be perfect, even as your heavenly Father is perfect." Jesus never said that He was in any way superior to us.
Of course my previous quote is invalid...TO YOU. We have differing beliefs. You believe in fear of condemnation. I believe there IS no condemnation because God loves unconditionally. Let's drop it.

@kelhawk1 Even Satanists and serial killers are divine? Give me a break. If Neale wrote "Converstations with Allah" he would have a death sentence. As a Christian, I'm not perfect, but Jesus is our example. If you want to get to heaven it is a thin long road and many fall off and don't make it. You must first accept Jesus as your personal saviour and obey the commandments, not committments, mentioned in the old testament. I pray that you don't follow this false sooth sayer. God bless.

Are we to throw away Jesus' words in favor of Neale or your's? @KrisMayeaux So will the "real gospel" please stand up? No one here is throwing away Jesus' words. Most of that was done in ancient times by Constantine and Theodora. I don't understand why only the ANCIENT prophets were privy to the words of God. And what about the MEN who were responsible for preserving all that information intact? It's no wonder that the new revelations of no Satan, no Hell, no judgement contradict the Bible.

He said Greater things shall you do, because I go to the Father and He will send you the Holy Spirit to indwell us - His Spirit. But humans will never be perfect, except Jesus. @samkomako What is a sin? Where do the line go between the acceptable and the unacceptable? Do you not have a free will? Is it not that what God gave you? So if you do not have a free mind witch means someone else needs to decide before you, well then why should you think before you do anything??? Right?
I mean, if everything is decided through a God "up there" (or down there if you live in Australia) then you don`t really have a free will. Not before you see the freedom in action as a "sin".
