I should know, I deal with many farmers in my area for business. I understand that everyone may not like this video and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please realise foxes take poultry and new born lambs on a regular basis. This is a known fact and is beyond question. It is totally acceptable therefore for a farmer to want the fox dispatched. A well placed shot is the most humane method fact.
As I already stated I respect your opinions but please respect the farmers livelihood.

Yes nature would take care of itself, but people have to be fed and farmers have to be able to manage their land.
You may like to know that the UK government has conducted surveys into public opinion regarding fieldsports which have found that around 64% of the country don't care either way.

I should know, I deal with many farmers in my area for business. No one is saying it isn't tricky, but as the one's who are gathering up the foxes natural prey into one place, we, as the reasoning species, have to take the responsibility of protecting those animals from predators ethically.

I would understand that an animal has no concept of ownership and if I wanted to make a successful farming business, it would be MY responsibility to ensure that predators and pests were kept at bay with fences and perhaps a noisy dog rather than a gun. I know many farmers in my neck of the countryside that run successful AND ethical farms. This is just pure brutish laziness and shows humans at their selfish and smug worst.
