You're dropping your TOP ARM too much on the recovery like a Recreational kayak Stroke - you cannot paddle fast like that. Drive down and LIFT the paddle with your TOP ARM, NOT PULL with your bottom arm.
PULLING with your arm = using your bicep
Drive down with TOP Arm = using your BIG muscles LATS & CORE
