Is it me, or was the Hyundai driver at the end more at fault; he came right around that curb and slammed into a car that was already halfway through the intersection! Not to forget that texting while driving is completely idiotic and ridiculous.

This does not show that texting and driving causes accidents at all. She was driving correctly and then that car just came out of nowhere and T-boned her. Texting or not, the same situation would have happened. Texting would have had no part in the accident if this were the situation. Pretty poorly made commercial in my opinion. Great bit of editing as there was nothing damaged in this PSA as the cars never actually hit. It was all done by sound effects & camera angles & Tele lenses used to compress space. SLICK & yet effective. The only problem I see is that the oncoming car actually AIMED at the subject car.

Today I followed a woman who was so preoccupied with her phone that she hesitated several seconds at every signal change, waited beyond her turn at every stop sign, was drifting out of her lane here and there... so at the first red light I got and approached her expensive Mercedes sports car and asked her if she personally knew anybody who had been killed because of a distracted driver. She replied that she hadn't. To that I smile and replied, "It shows."
