Also, whoever doesn't like this movie as much as they enjoyed reading the comics? Why? Tell me why and i'll give you 10 pounds if your answer convinces me. The films with Tobey McGuire as Peter are seriously just as good as the comics in my opinion. Even Kirsten Dunst being in this franchise does nothing to phase me. My childhood love of Spiderman started with this film besides the 90's cartoons on TV. I regret nothing.

I understand y no one wants yet another reboot decision made by money hungry corporations, i do. But when Sam Raimi couldnt even get simple facts about the spiderman universe correct (for example, making felicia hardy into the Vultress, the Vulture's new sidekick in the fourth movie) it was time to scrap the series, especially after the third movie flopped. This new movie is actually truer to the comics (web shooters, parent storyline, gwen stacy relationship, etc.) Give it a chance

Frequently asking questions and taking notes on radioactive spider, goes to the nuclear fusion demonstration of Doc Oc, and countlessly very nerdy in the third. It's his nerdom that kills venom. And he's not supposed to be a genius. He's supposed to be intellectually gifted not a genius. Gwen Stacy died. Mary Jane married him.

i think ive warmed to the reboot idea despite scoffing at first. they have a chance to change the style of the stories and perhaps go for an adult and realistic tone like nolan's batman, no idea if that would work for spiderman tho, who knows what they have in mind, i anticipate it excitedly tho

@InfernusCar I have known that since it was announced "Spider-Man 4" was not going to be made afterall. I was disappointed at first because I could not wait to see another sequel, but now I think it is good the original series will only be a trilogy. I have already seen some pictures of "The Amazing Spider-Man" with Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys-Ifhan, Martin Sheen, Sally Field, and Denis Leary. It will not be as good as the original movie, but it looks cool enough for a new series to me.

The pictures of the reboot do make it look like it might possibly give the same feeling "Batman Begins" did, but I feel like certain things will make it seem less traditional as they are redoing it to fit more into a modern world. I do not think it will be a bad movie at all, I just feel like it will not be as good as what came out before. Everyone has their own opinions.
