This is the real game speed. I'm using dosbox 0.73 ... you can try to increase cycles value in the dosbox.conf file (by default it is set to auto but you can try a value highter than 3000) otherwise you can press CTRL+F12 to increase this value at runtime. Hi ... the keyboard layout for this games is a bit "strange" (maybe for the three players race mode) ...
X for turn left, V for turn right, Q for accelerate and A for nitro (use the A key to confirm you choice in the menu, V and X move the cursor )

Is this the real game speed in yourr video? At me in dosbox the vehicles are moving slower! (So sometimes it is easier to compete ^^)
