I must admit *I loved this show too...but now in retrospect I must say it loses a bit of that charme form the original movie.

Instead of keeping The Black wild, Alec Ramsey took him from one race to another.

But luckily in the second BLACK STALLION with Kelly Reno The Black became "wild" again!

wicked!! .. "You and I we know the wind"  ..loved the main chorus and pretty much everything that went into this tune. The show had such a wholesome spirit to it and i remember not wanting to ever miss an episode whenever it was on. lol ...That french girl marianne filali I had like the hugest crush on her she was HOT loll...

Anyway this is the shortened version theres a longer opening theme, or maybe this is the modified one they came out with after they replaced the first girl..who knows.

I have a different version of 'The adventures of the Black stallion'. Is that possible? Sure the music is the same, but the some of the clips are different. Just like that woman/girl at 0:37 (Marianne Filali??). She's not on my dvds of this serie? rofl.. And the strange thing about the dvdbox is, there are pictures of some people who aren't on the dvd's xD A little boy for example..

@alettaHartjePonys This show moved around and the cast changed over the few years it was on. First it was in the "States" and Alec lived at home and Henry trained him, that's probably the other french girl you have on your dvd. Then Alec and Henry were in France for awhile and met Nicole (Marianne Filali). She came back to the states with them and the last season was in New Zealand. Henry's niece and newphew died and he went to raise their son Nate on their ranch.

This is one of my favorite shows. I grew up reading the Black Stallion books and have had the poster from the move on my wall since I was 6 years old. At 28 it's still one of my favorites. I watched this show on the Family Channel back when it aired in the 90s. I am so happy they have the episodes on DVD. My home taped copies were pretty pathetic!
