@HerculesRockefellerr the simulations are based on not being able to see the F22s. What we are telling you is that is of yesterday. These new planes will have better avionics that will rival the F35 which is superior to the F22's avionics. Even the US government acknowledge that the F22s must be upgraded to counter future fighters as it is not sufficient as it is. Pictures clearly show J20 will have EODAS and anti jamming weapons that have a much greater range than the AIM.

@jack99889988 Nope, I'm not. Listen, just because two things LOOK similar doesn't mean they're the same. Stealth shaping is all in the subtleties. The F-22's canopy has a small, angular ridge/bump about 3/4 forwards that gives it stealth shape. J-20's/T-50's is a big, round, radar reflector. Also, notice that the F-22's canopy is a tawny hue. (That is a shade of brown. lol.) This is due to the polycarbonate structure and the microstrips of gold laced into it. (continued)

In the case of: su 50 is newer, stronger, faster, maneuver than f 22. f 22 will fall apart in the air at the maximum angles of attack, because a lot of composite plastic crap. In simulated air to air combat the F-22 is easily winning 10 to 1 battles against the F-15 which after over 20 years in service has a perfect 104 to ZERO air to air combat record. At the yearly Red Flag competition Russian Mig-35's, French Rafael's, and the Eurofighter's are fairing no better against the F-22.
Trust me, when the F-22 makes its combat debut you will be eating your words!

@HerculesRockefellerr the simulations are based on not being able to see the F22s. What we are telling you is that is of yesterday. These new planes will have better avionics that will rival the F35 which is superior to the F22's avionics. Even the US government acknowledge that the F22s must be upgraded to counter future fighters as it is not sufficient as it is. Pictures clearly show J20 will have EODAS and anti jamming weapons that have a much greater range than the AIM.

Attention self-proclaimed aviation experts: J-20 and PAK-FA are not fully stealth due to non-stealth canopies, radomes, and lack of intake radar blockers. F-22 should acheive a kill ratio of, oh, 200 to 1 against them. That's assuming that they can kill one F-22... which is iffy...

@ManUnited2004 lol are u dumb? go compare some picture between j20 and f22, their canopies is identical, and so is the nose of the plane, air intake is from f35. just except the engine nozzle, but i bet they are going to make them look like the one on f22. it its only a prototype. T50's head section took some idea from f35 jsf, and air duct came from yf23. yea 200 to 1 lmao. more funny thing is f22 suffer from oxygen lifesupport system failure, it can't fly above 7800m or pilot will die

@jack99889988 Nope, I'm not. Listen, just because two things LOOK similar doesn't mean they're the same. Stealth shaping is all in the subtleties. The F-22's canopy has a small, angular ridge/bump about 3/4 forwards that gives it stealth shape. J-20's/T-50's is a big, round, radar reflector. Also, notice that the F-22's canopy is a tawny hue. (That is a shade of brown. lol.) This is due to the polycarbonate structure and the microstrips of gold laced into it. (continued)

@jack99889988 (continued)Only America knows how to "stealthify" a canopy like this. As for radomes, I don't care how they look, that's not what I was talking about. Basically, radomes are the hardest part of an aircraft to make stealthy, because if you spray it with RAM or shape it wrong, it'll mess up your radar emitting and receiving! It's a mystery to everyone outside Skunk Works and its equivilants how America makes its radomes stealth, but we do. Data suggests that T-50's and J-20's aren't.

@jack99889988 And about the intakes: I wasn't talking about the intakes being stealth. They're your basic canted parallelograms, as seen on the F-22 and F-18E/F, but NOT the F-35, as you suggested. Big whoop. Using identical geometry for stealth is common knowledge. I was talking about the ducts, and how F-22 and F-35 sheild their compressor fans (huge radar reflectors) with snaking ducts and special, top-secret radar blockers that scatter waves without inhibiting airflow. @jack99889988 The Russains and Chinese do not have these intake screens. We'd know if they did, as you can see them. Also, on T-50, part of the fan is visible from the frontal profile view! That is about as stealth as a 747. In F-22 and F-35, the ducts snake in an "S" shape to prevent this. No pictures of J-20 good enough to see if it has snaking intakes are out yet. I know it's only a prototype. Exactly. It's not an experimental plane like Su-47 or MiG-35. Prototypes like YF-22, (cont'd3)

@jack99889988 (cont'd3) which is the F-22 prototype, YF-17 (F-18), Have Blue (F-117), T-10 (Su-27), etc etc, are always 90% similar or more to the final prodect. No one has the money for messing around; only a few tweaks will be made, especially to the aerodynamics. Oh whoops i see u said the ducts came from yf23. well close enough. But still, you can't just "bet" that it will magically become this amazing fighter! I havn't even gone into electronics, where the F-22 kicks ass. Ok bye.

@ZergoSIE hmm well, f22 came out in the 1990s. T50 came out in 2010, and j20 in 2011... i dont think the chinese can copy t50 in one year. even though they are the master of copying*** i believe the russian copied our f22 first. i think its a better time to ditch f22 and consider f35, because f22 just have too many problems. oh by the way f22 are all grounded because lifesupport system failure. on the other hand, f35 can serve the navy, airforce, and army with one aireframe. its cost effective.

well... J20 at this moment is more then likely a test type of the actual stealth fighter China is building, which by rumor shall be labeled as J21, and other then Mig1.44, J20 have more relation to YF23 Black Widow, because China actually OWN the production line of YF23, and J20 is also the reason China refused to join Russia's T50 project.

that is why i said it's a rumor, and i have no idea why the rumor mixed with a project code which already assigned to another plan, but china did announced J20 at this moment is a experimental prototype aircraft, which means it might be different with the final product of the actual J20 which will be equipped in the air force.
and did anyone noticed? both J20 that has been build are marked as "2001" but have different engine and some different equipments.

@segregator236 afaik, it is just a J11 with canard and new wing structure optimized for short takeoff capability suggestion for carrier operations. another words, a chinese version of Su33. the only other stealth plane i seen from china is it's UCAV project.
it is probable that the 2nd stealth fighter many thought the other company was developing has already been knock out of the competition. this would allow J20 development to be rev up now that it is confirm "the winner" of the program.

j20 is 62 ft long, and 41 ft wide, it is almost smaller than the f22
however, it does not have supercruise capability
