  • so those crash bars do come in handy ;)

  • @DesmosediciAlice Of course! ;)

  • I bet your tires helped for the falling, do you do a lot of offroading?

  • @smashingbugs Yes, i used to do a lot of offroading, hence the knobbies. Now i have a sherco enduro bike, so i don't offroad so much on the beemer. ;)

  • Glad you were both ok, bike and you, Fantastic road too!

Try Steering with your eyes not the bars! Take care

  • glad you are fine...stay safe!

  • Nice video

  • dirt tyres?

  • Hola Isaac,

  • I am sorry because you got hurt. If you would allow us, we'd like to use your video, No offense but, it is really a good! example of what could happen (especially for the students that trust GS electronics more then they should)

    a) if you try to corner hard a gear higher.

    b) Why should the gear and speed be set before you actually lean the bike in for a curve

To be honest I think you compressed the bike to loose speed too hard so the rear was kinda light and had no traction any tire would fail

  • @basharem I didnt got hurt. No injuries to myself or the bike. Besides that, I don't trust on ASC in cornering. You can take a look at my other videos, specially the one of my ride in calafat circuit. I'm not going to say I'm an expert driver, but I think I know well what I'm drinving here. This is my first motorcycle crash on-road (on about 200.000 kms), and I'm 100% sure (I've analyzed the video at slow-motion) the reason was opening gas too earlier on a rear destroyed TKC80 tyre (Knobbies).

  • @isaacfeliu English is not my native language. I may have have written what i don't mean and offend you.Who am I to judge a fellow riders riding anyway. A rather inexperienced friend of mine brought this video up on a discussion and asked "why does this guy fall?" It looks like a rear slippage with no reason at first on an otherwise perfect and smooth riding. He was afraid it could happen to him too.

Believe me my friend when you think for a second you are now good enough you go down...

  • @basharem "Believe me my friend when you think for a second you are now good enough you go down..." Completely Agree on that. ;)

  • No ASR?

  • @fanatictsx Yes, ASR (ASC in fact) but on this case, it didnt help. ;)

  • Glad you were OK,looks like on the video you were going really fast?

  • @ericbusa Yep, I was going really fast. I can go even faster with a pair of tourances... ;) I'll upload a video of myself on a racetrack soon. ;)

  • @isaacfeliu Look forward to seeing the racetrack one, i use bridgestones on my gs third set they corner well

  • @ericbusa I have uploaded it already today. Check my last video, with id 2_ZNpp5xT0M ;)

  • glad you're ok . do you know what hapened ?

  • @RandomRidePro Analyzing the video seems like my rear wheel starts to spin when I open the throttle on the middle of the turn. Those knobbies are awesome but you can reach its limit earlier....

  • @isaacfeliu hoooo my bad ! i did not seen that you were in knobbies ... ok that's the main reason ! ( i feel stupid now ..haha)
