Question: How the hell is Lara going to get out of Nepal in the ending with just a wetsuit and no winter gear? She'd freeze to death.

Anyone ever play this game on the Playstation 2? OMG they butchered the fuck out of it. Controls are super dodgy, and there are hardly any enemies at all until the last levels of the game. For instance there are NONE in the tomb under Croft Manor, except for one demon dog skeleton looking thing, forgot what it's called. Was a waste of money >_<

@traod8 Yes, they are back in Nepal in the final scene. You can tell when Lara picks up the two drawings she made, and there abandoned, when she was younger and her mother disappeared. You can also tell by the surroundings (mainly the staircase) that it's the Dais in Nepal.

Probably still play it though...

If memory serves, Lara's journal (once you unlock that part) will have an entry entitled "Mother," which I believe describes what happened exactly. I suggest reading through all of the entries, though, because they're very informative and explain a lot of the finer points about the mythology and what Lara is doing throughout the game.

No, that was definitely Nepal. If you look in the center of the device, you can see the shattered stone dais that Lara tried to activate when she completely reassembled Excalibur near the end of that level in TR Legend. When she thrust the sword into the dais, it completely shattered. Look at 3:13 - 3:33 near the bottom of the screen.

I will explain: Natla first talked about the seventh age in Tomb Raider 1. It was a mystery to all us. She wanted to go to Helheim to active that machine to destroy the world, so she could recreate the world as she wants. That's the seventh age: Natla commands the world. If she is dead or not, is still a mystery. And Amanda didn't know about the seventh age. She went to Helheim for knowledge, she didn't have any idea of Natla's true plans. Did you understand now?

well, I think the gauntlets and the belt have no use to Lara from now. but like the dagger of Xian, Philosopher's Stone, and much others artifacts, she can keep them. I read in Wikiraider that Tomb Raider Underworld will have two new chapters, so we will probably know if the gauntlets and belt have some other use and if Natla survived. She is crazy, I know, but I love her! She can't die now...
