I have to say I hated the Jane in the last season. She just.. ugh. I loove Anne and Natalie brought a new light to her. I will also adimit that I was slightly close-minded when i began to watch the 3rd season but I found myself loving the new Jane, so sweet and kind.

Lady Rochford may have conspired against her husband, but all she wanted was happiness. I have to say Katherine of Aragon, Jane Seymour, and Katherine Parr were my favorite. Anne was spunky...but she was a bitch. Katherine Howard was...a skank. I liked the second Anne, she got the best divorce settlement ever!

I do have a lot of sympathy for her, too. The actual history of them both was rather botched in this series. There isn't evidence to suggest that George Boleyn himself was anything but a gentleman, and some historians believe that LRochford had been tricked into giving that testimony. I do feel bad for her. K Howard was a skank, but Rochford was executed with her, too.I think the poor woman was trying to make a teenage girl happy by setting up appointments between her and a lover her own age.

She's okay, but she's no Anne Boleyn. Natalie Dormer's version of Anne captivated me, and made every second of screen time she got worth gold. Jane is bearable, but there's nothing interesting or passionate about her- of course, that's how she's supposed to be, but that doesn't mean I have to like it lol.

Natalie dormer was pretty but the real ann had no equal even the pope said she may be a hore but no women in europe could compare to her beauty jane was a kind queen but she realy had no style her clothing is bland compared to ann's lavish styles jane wore more old fashion medieval clothes ann wore much more modern 16th century clothing.and did not uassaly wear head dresses or hats

she was very modern for her time

Every historical account, from tv specials to biographies, describe Anne as NOT someone who was especially beautiful, but rather especially seductive. She had dark looks, which were unpopular at the time, but was skillfully charming and flirtatious and wore the more "sexy" French fashions. You are right in that she was quite modern for her time though- she was the one who encouraged Henry to start the Church of England and split from the old catholic ways. Jane was boring vanilla next to her.

henry s respond to the lady mary confrontation was sooo scary it was like telling her have u forgot about what happened to my last queen.but overall i like this new jane ,im a boleyn fan so i hated the other actress she was not nearly as good as natalie dormer.

I just watched this on Sunday. It was so good. I still have it recorded, so I'm going to watch it again. I really like the new Jane. I just wish she didn't die so soon. I think she's a good fit.

It's quite possible that Jane would have gone on to try and reconcile Henry with Elizabeth. It's historical fact that she specifically asked for Elizabeth's presence and participation in Edward baptism.

Which Jane didn't have to ask for. You'll recall that Mary was not present at Elizabeth's baptism.
