  • It's funny how we can make CPR so complex, or so simple. Push come to shove, watch this video, save a life... who knows it might be someone you love!

  • vinnie jones <3

  • who here likes DAGS ?

  • That's Errol, one of Brick Top's goons.

  • 2nd time today when i hear "stayin alive". this is a sign

  • vinnie jhons was raped by a ladyboy while fast asleep outside on a porch in Thailand

  • We need a version were vinnie shows us how to do this on the misses.

  • Ironic how 'Staying alive' and 'Another one bites the dust' have the same beat, isn't it?

  • *here's one i made earlier* lolol

  • feed him to pigs Erol

  • @0card thx

  • У меня от этой хуйни брат выжил!

  • @TheUnhivedTRUTH You sound thick. Give up.

  • Классно! Стильно! Понятно! Доступно! Круто!

  • How are deaf people supposed to know what the beat of Staying Alive is under crack pressure?

  • @meantism Deaf people can still feel the vibes of the beat.

  • :) lol :)

  • And for the South Africans, 084 124 or 10177 or 082 911>>> the three most effective numbers!

    Good job Vinnie :)

  • Vinnie jones is such a legend, he looks well old know though :(

  • "Better a cracked rib than him kicking the bucket" But in today's day and age he'll bleedin' sue my arse!

  • @Hypohamish nope, its impossible nowadays because there is a good samartian law, which as long as you don't try anything thats way out of your skill set e.g bag-valve resusicator for someone who isn't trained to use it.

  • @Hypohamish They can't Im an EMT-B and a CPR/First Aid instructor and they are laws that protect health care providers or anyone trying to help from being sued...never be afraid to help if you are qualifed and know how to

  • @SasukeandSakuraRock On top of that... You can be charged if you choose NOT to help!! Where I'm from anyway...

  • Brilliant! I would LOVE to have this in an American version instructing folks to dial 9-1-1 instead of 9-9-9.

  • lol i love this advert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 'No kissing,You only kiss your missus on the lips' Lol

  • why no kissing ?

  • @mark01318 90% of people don't know how to perform full CPR. If you do, by all means do it. But most people probably don't.

  • @AJHadley Arnt u suppose to hold the head back wards and breath in like every 2 counts ? its bin a while have to look it up to be sure

  • @mark01318 In short, and per RLSS regulations, it's five initial breaths for suspected asphyxiation, otherwise straight to compressions, then cycle two breaths in every thirty compressions. Only hold the head back when giving breath, and pinch the nose. Compressions at 100-120bpm, 1/3 chest depth.

However, if you've not recently trained in using CPR, go nowhere near. There's a risk of more harm than good being done by even a small mistake.

  • @AJHadley you're wrong. Even bad CPR is better than no CPR, though people who aren't medical providers SHOULD NOT TRY MOUTH TO MOUTH BREATHING.

Hands-only CPR is fine until the ambulance gets there.

  • @FayeVert I typo'd :$

The second post is meant to read "full CPR" just like the first, I managed to miss it out :/

  • @AJHadley Duly noted.

  • @FayeVert even medical personal doesn't use mouth to mouth nowadays -.- i am in med school and we are thought mouth to nose...much more easy...and effective

and there is no reason for non-medical people to refrain from doing that btw....even though i agree: bad cpr is better than no cpr

  • @8sakuraleaf9 its not even called cpr anymore

  • @mark01318 - no, the protocol changes every so often after extensive research. I just completed my BLS for HCP under the American Heart Association, feel free to browse there website :)

  • выжить там и выжить сдесь

  • Aw shit, time to watch Snatch.

  • i saw a paki lying unconscious in the road yesterday. i tried doing the hands only cpr like how vonnie jones said... but by the time i found my bee gees cd he was already dead...

  • Harold looks like he's put on a bit of weight!

  • brilliant way to get the message out there... and what could be better than some classic disco!

  • This advert saved my brother-in-laws life on Sunday. He suffered a cardiac arrest in the middle of nowhere. Thankfully his 3 friends who were with him had seen the advert and knew what to do. They kept him alive for 30 minutes until the air ambulance arrived. EVERYONE should watch this video :-)

  • @CazLinton Oh wow that's really wicked. In the nick' of time eh?

  • @CazLinton BULLSHIT

  • @CazLinton he is such a lucky bastard. 30 MINS!!! did he suffer much brain damage?

  • @freemanstubey thats the wrong thing to say i think you should look at what you have said and think if it was your brother in law would you want that said on youtube

  • @CONNER3497 I didn't mean any offence or anything ( i guess now in hindsight i shouldn't have used bastard) but i know how hard it is to resus someone after 5 mins ( i'm a full time lifeguard, but also a part time paramedic) and i was saying that he is very lucky to be brought back after that length of time, even with cpr. i can also imagine what it would have been like in his suitation, as 5 yrs ago i pulled my GF out of the water, and brought her back to life 5 mins later (sry 4 bad spellin)

  • אבער וואָס אויב עס איז סעקסי מיידל?

  • I tried doing this, and I killed someone.

Probably shouldn't have done it to the dubstep version of 'Stayin' Alive'.

  • @Griffo619 it's not funny as this is a very serious issue. Please be considerate who have died from cpr failure.

  • @Footie514 If this is so serious, then why does this video include comedy in?

  • @Griffo619 The comedy is not about the person being dead but how he has got there and how to save them. In the video the person didn't die.

  • @Footie514 There's nothing wrong with having a joke about a serious subject, that is the root of all comedy. Stop being an idiot.

  • @Griffo619 to stop people switching off because most people would find a powerpoint style advert boring. Personally I think it is genuis

  • "Here's one I made earlier" loool :DD

    British hooligans!) Love them)

  • Czemu u nas w Polsce nie ma takich akcji? Jak ktoś na ulicy np. straci przytomność to zaraz kurwa że najebany. Polski naród najbardziej poryty na świecie.

  • legendary advert :)

  • i love this guy freaking legend

  • Best advert ever

  • toims in loif. i love english accents

  • That perv' look at 1:05 ... 0_0

  • best advert ever

  • ARE THOSE SUBTITLES!!?

  • Why can't America ever come up with cool funny shit like this :/

  • Comment removed

  • @dailyutuber Because we as English humans are brilliant

  • we watched this in Applied Athletic Training...this is awesome.

  • Feed 'im to the pigs Errol

  • 0:12 guy on the left doing the david brent for a bit lol

  • Lol, Britain ftw

  • sorry for extra posts; but saying i am a paramedic and those who talk shit or dislike this video really dont know their right asscheek from their left elbow.....period! you can talk all the shit you want but until you are in a situation that means holy shit this dude is gonna DIE! UNLESS I DO THIS; then ur comments dont really mean shit; get back in your child cave in daddys basement.

  • why does anyone dislike this video? this is te REAL way to save a life- i guess these fuckers kissed the misses on the lips; enjoy the vomit! dumbasses!

  • thumbs for staying alive

  • And no kissing))

  • You only kiss your missus on the lips

  • @EllidanX and her sister

  • The message should be : feel free to give breaths if you want to, before and in between compressions. And DO NO press down on someone's blinkin neck "on the sovereign" - that's just ridiculous. It's a good 3-4 inches farther down. I think most people know that, crazy advert!!

  • @dolfinack Um..Where exactly did you do Biology? That was not his neck. That was the correct place for CPR. 3-4 inches down would have been too far down, and this is "Hands-Only CPR", hence why no breaths were used.

  • @dolfinack and one more thing before i get out tonight genius; there is such thing called cricoid pressure that you put pressure on the neck and the adams apple to prevent ventilation into the abdomen from taking in air from the esophagus; and you never give mouth to mouth now because of vomitus carries hep B and C; HIV and AIDS. thanks and bye!

  • Is 999 911 in Britain?

  • @exce11er Yes. 999 is the emergency number for police, ambulance and fire service in Britain

  • NIKKO BELLIC!

  • Absolutely brilliant every time I hear staying alive I think of this advert and its message.

  • lol love this vid, i like vinnie. the 2 guys in the back are awesome with the dancing haha

  • 'we need a voluteer, heres one i made earier' haha quality gotta love vinnie for doing stuff like this xD

  • Such a good advert! They should have mentioned that it's very very unlikely the patient will be revived just by CPR. Pretty much impossible. If there is a defib nearby, use it! It could save a life! If there's not one on hand, when you dial 999 tell them they need to bring a defibrillator!

  • @minimalcolm I'm pretty sure ALL ambulance's (even the RRV's) carry defibs and if you mention that the patient is having a cardiac arrest OF COURSE there going to bring a defib, its common sense !!! DUHHH !

  • @aabbii93here yes they carry aed's but what are you gonna do when they are in progess and takes 20 minutes to arrive at the scene; can YOU hold up to 20 minutes of chest compresses before they get there; or are you gonna post on facebook instead?

  • @monkadelic13 Well me personally, I would keep giving CPR for as long as the paramedics arrive. I admit, it would probably kill my arms to, but if its the difference between life and death, then I would and are you serious "are you gonna post it on facebook instead" is that some sort of joke, I may be 14, but I'm not that stupid, I know what the priorities are in a situation like this!

  • @aabbii93here good for you man. some are less fortunate to know some common sense tho. thanks for being one of the ones that care.

  • CALL NOIN NOIN NOIN

  • Did he died?

  • its bullet tooth Tony & Errol :)

  • This is how they taught us in a first aid course with the scouts :L Classic

  • LOLOLOL i made this one ealyer

  • Comment removed

  • Vinny Jones is the man!

  • Errol knows how to dance.

  • 'Come in Andy' LOL.

  • Sooo... Did he save this guy or not?

  • Interesting note: the song "Another one bites the dust": by Queen works just as well as The Bee Gees.

  • @TheUnhivedTRUTH Am curious, how DO you restart a heart that is no longer beating with Cayenne pepper?

  • .......what bout suffocating whilst waiting on ambulance to arrive????

  • "We need a volunteer that ain't breathing, here's one I made earlier."

  • This is brilliant :)

  • I have made a spoof of this fab CPR video - only 52 seconds long so please take a look and share it! Just click my name to see it.

  • omg how do u do that

  • Pure brilliance, love this life saving advert

  • I seen this ad LOTS of times!!!

  • I love Vinnie!

  • Всё правильно сделал

  • What about expired air resuscitation along with the compression's ?

Two breaths to every 30 compression's isn't it now ?

  • @markanthony1920 Yep, But only if you have a Pocket mask or other barrier. New research has shown that there is a bit more oxygen in the system than previously thought so the recommendation is circulation first.

  • @markanthony1920 Nah, they got rid of the two breathes, thats why they made this advert to tell everyone to fuck the breathes and just constant compression

  • vincent got glassed in the usa, hip hip horray.

  • il kiss vininni

  • Vinnie may not realise how many lives will be saved by his campaign. Well done to him times a million.

  • poo

  • why do they call him the bullet dodger?

    BECAUSE HE DODGES BULLETS AVI!!

  • @TheUnhivedTRUTH Actually I'm 13 so I am worth a lot more that you may think and I hate all zombie games.

  • @Snivy932 Piss off kid :)

  • @Hayhowwo

Reason being after 15 seconds/30 compressions, stopping to give 2 resue breaths (aprox 6 seconds) allows the blood pressure to reduce and therefore the pressure has to be reinstated to recomence perfusion of the tissues

  • @hayhowwho

I'm really surprised at your comment, you say you have just completed your first responder refresher training? yet you insist that ratio is 30-3? as a royal college of surgeons approved pre hospital care practitioner I can assure you that the reatio for an adult is 30-2 using either BVM or mouth to mouth, as for compressions only, studies have PROVEN that where an adequate airway is maintained compressions are as, if not more effective than 30-2 mouth to mouth.

  • "here's one I made earlier"......priceless!!

  • Amazing! this is exactly what TV needs

  • this should win a award..

  • Was this part of Vinnie's community service or can he not find work after that stinking pile of shit, The Cape? lol

  • something tellin me this is dirty

  • To my Mum who my Dad did 1 hour of cpr on and is now alive and healthy!!!

  • @TheUnhivedTRUTH Can wait for you to get a heart attack. Then you might think differently.

  • why has this got 63 dislikes, do those 63 people think its funny when people have heartattacks and die?

  • @AwsomlycuteHabbo No you have the wrong end of the stick. My mum is a resuscitation trainer and she is not happy. I work on a ward and do it for real, and it's not right, people could do more harm than good by doing it wrong. Having a heart attack and having a cardiac arrest are 2 different things! Just worried about the height of the hand that's my main issue. although the speed is too slow, 2 compressions a second according to the Resus council of the UK. Just puzzled why BHF have ok'd this!

  • Amazing advert, As a Medic myself, i know how vital something like this is. It's always great to find that even someone that's untrained has given someone else the chance of survival before professional help arrives

  • I would never offer any form of first aid. I might end up handling a corpse and make myself ritually unclean. We are all going to die sometime, this life on earth is merely a preparation for the after-life. Get real and just accept the fact, instead of trying to find ways to cheat death. Why interfere with the will of the gods?

  • @glenpovey go back to your troll cave......RIGHT NOW

  • @glenpovey You do know how ignorant and selfish that sounds, right?

  • You celeb loving whores are gonna dig this advert...wankers!!

  • @TheUnhivedTRUTH Please die of a heart attack. : )

  • very clever ad.. well done..

  • vinnie wrong place a good 4in to 6in lower

  • @fr1695 can't believe this passed the regulators. Push on someone's neck? Good luck with that.

  • @dolfinack it is regulation bro; its called a head tilt chin lift instead of a jaw thrust because that person was not a trauma. now ur shit first please?

  • UH UH UH UH STAYING ALIVE STAYING ALIVE UH UH UH UH --------^--^--^^---118 FUCK I MEAN 999

  • wow seeing him do it i have to have a go now il go beat my bro in his sleep till his heart stops

  • This is better than the shortened version, it mentions the crucial point of depth. Depth is really more significant than rate at which you push, you can push as fast as you like but if it's not deep enough nothing's gonna happen.

And it mentions the ribs. Proper CPR usually breaks most if not all the casualty's ribs. If you hear ribs cracking, that's a good sign. This Ad kind of hints at that.

  • @Joey100816 The sovereign was above his sternum...not his ribs. Proper CPR certainly does not break most of if not all the ribs. If you start to hear cracks I recommend you shift your compression to the persons sternum again as the persons ribs are breaking because your not doing it correctly lol. Even though it often does break SOME ribs, it most definitely does not break all of them lol.

  • @ScouserLegend

He's pressing on the sovereign. isn't actually the most effective position The best position is a few inches further down, on the base of the sternum. It may give a much greater risk of cracked ribs (CPR can crack most of the ribs) but it also gives much more effective compressions.

Feel your own heartbeat, the strongest pump will be between the nipples, i.e. lower down than where vinnie is compressing. That's where you need to push to actually contract the heart most strongly

  • And no kissing, you only kiss your missus on the lips.

  • wrong

  • @Biffjab Oh?

  • @OJSlaughter93

sit a first aid course ;)

  • 61 people dislike vinnie jones.

  • omg i still laughed when i watch this over and over again. hahahaha.

  • hahahahaha, i love vinnie, has me glued to the telly every time.....

someone have a heart attack, so i can practice...lol

IM JOKING..... PLEASE DONT HAVE A HEART ATTACK........

  • Worried you'll urt him? Better a cracked rib than him kicking the bucket!
