I'm not quite old enough to be breaking a hip.....yet. Breaking a hip would definitely be bad for a belly dancer! I have insurance and I'm sure my troupe girls would just dance around me in my wheelchair. They wouldn't let me down.

I can't help too think that this would be good for my golf game? Does this strengthen ones core mussels? I have a hard time keeping my upper body still which is very important to a golf swing.

Now, after watching several instructors on DVD's and YouTube clips, I have this to ask: When you're moving your hips back, are you actuually swaying your hips back, or simply allowing it to move back/relax into the original position from the initial standing posture? I ask this because I find it difficult to move my hips further back without making them sway back and up, which is supposed to be bad for the low back, no?
Your videos are awesome, and you have a beautiful body! People that are negative on here are doing so to suppress their own insecurities...they try to make everyone else as miserable as they feel inside, whether they realize what they're doing or not.

I should have pointed that out in the video, but most people need to get the move before they start adding the belly part. Whenever I get around to recording videos again, I'll make sure I add that.

With the hip circle, you're not concentrating on the abs, you're concentrating on the hips moving in a circle while keeping the upper body still. Make sure your knees are bent and just concentrate on keeping the rest of your body still. It just takes time. No magic answer here, sorry! Isolating your movements is the hardest part. It will come with time.
