to be able keeping lions as a housepet you have to be at least 4x bigger then a normal human. 2 human (legs part) 2 human for upper body. Voila then you can handle them.

The glass broke at a gorrillas enclosure. I forget the zoo and no one was hurt. But it could happen. lol Awsome video!

I've been to that Zoo once in 2000 with my ex-girlfriend and her niece and went by the lions. I saw a male and female but I don't know if any other lion was hiding. Sadly a few years later I found out the male lion killed the female and the male lion had to be destroyed.

Zookeepers and staff go through a lot of research and observation of wild animals to be sure that we are giving our animals the best possible life we can while they are in captivity. The zookeepers work in large teams and are watched by not only the zoo but also organizations like the AZA to make sure the animals in our care are being taken care of properly. Believe me, Christopher is very well taken care of!

Christopher is actually an older lion and as such is closely monitored by his keepers and the vet staff at the zoo. He is at the optimum weight for a lion his age, not to mention that all animals, including lions and humans, go through natural weight fluctuations.

Can't believe you people think this lion wants to eat her. A hungry lion, let alone any hungry animal, doesn't stand in one spot staring directly into the eyes of the pray , regardless of whether glass or cage is present. If it were SO hungry that it desired to get out and eat her, it would be running in circles clawing. He is literally purring, staring into her eyes, and bowing his head like a kitten in heat. Seriously... So rare an experience. 500lbs of Intelligence beyond that glass. wake up
