go amd and buy ASROCK EXTREME 3 MOBO(USB 3.0./SATA 3.0./ESATA 3.0)
buy an PHENOM X6 and overclock it to 4.0ghz, buy an ATI card and overclock it, buy fast DDR3 memory, then overclock the integrated HD4290 card by 50%, the 128MB sideport memory from 667 to 1333MHz(another 50%) then turn on HYBRID CROSSFIRE: and this integrated overclocked card will add u power to your discrete card. And u have extreme gaming/multimedia PC for a buck...
its kinda stupid how he compares the way the graphics look on the Intel machine at 4:45 when he alludes away from saying he lowered the graphics. He could just turn the graphics up to look the same as the AMD machine to compare the performance which would be a much better way to do it instead of having the AMD machine with full graphics and the Intel machine with the lowest settings. Who knows maybe it would play smoothly enough on the Intel machine to actually play and he doesn't want that.
u know ive always liked AMD..i play Call of Duty 4 with an AMD Athlon 64 +3000 1.8GHz processor, and it runs faster than the Intel core 2 duo 2.2GHz that we have, im quite impressed and am recommending AMD for all my friends who want fast computers...and for the people who are complaining about the 3 core thing, would you rather he use the AMD Athlon 64x2 2.7GHz?
it's true that AMD put on it's side a triple-core processor and left intel win only a dual-core processor, but, look at the prices...even with 3 cores AMD is cheaper (remember 650 vs 670US$), and if u see another video about the G780,in wich,i think they're using the seme core number, you'll see the same result.Besides, some AMD dual-cores got,in games, the performance of some 4CORES processors, beacause games do not take much advantage of more than 3 cores, beacause the games are designed 4 2cores.
Anyways I got an AMD Athlon 64X2 Dual Core +6000 3.0 GHZ. Pretty good for gaming, but with an ATI Radeon 1250X, its pretty useless for Call of Duty World at War.... Since I got myself a new video card (Nvidia Geforce 9800 GT), the frame-rate just got higher then ever.... It feels like I am in war right now.
You are an idiot and need a translator. He said, "AMD 780G kicking ass", which is what you are trying to correct him with. If you didn't get that, then he is saying that AMD ROX. : P
I am pretty much debating on them challenging a 2 core chipset of Intel vs 3 core of AMD, just compare 2 quads, since it seems like 3 cores are ganging up on 2, making it obvious that 3 will render a higher frame rate.
It's a comparison between existing typical "mainstream", "office" PC platforms with integrated graphics. AMDs 780G and Intels G35. Intel's integrated solutions have always been the worst existing on the market. I pity their customers.
Still, a gamer shouldn't buy an integrated platform anyway. You can do a very cheap gaming PC with a AMD 770 mb, X2 4800+ CPU and a HD3850. It will vastly outperform this 780G/Phenom and any comparably priced Intel solutions.
its obvius amd ownz

I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ @ 2.6ghz, with Windows Vista and a NVidia MCP61 chipset (with GF8500GT) chipset.
it runs absolutely mint I even get a rating of 5.0 for Aero and 5.3 for gaming in 3D
so I dont have to upgrade soon. I can play Crysis at High without lag

not fair
compare it to a AMD 2 cores
pilot7amood 3 years ago
The tri-core is AMD's closest processor in price to the Intel Core 2. It makes sense :)
Plus, the extra core isn't really being used in this task - games rely more on the graphics processor :)

How about comparing the processors with the same amount of cores! Not being fair AMD!
jamerican347 3 years ago
they're comparing it on the same price point. they're saying, on that same price point, you can get better (triple core on amd, and 2 core on intel)
nomadph 3 years ago 7
yea this is completely fair due to shity intel overpricing there (GREAT) gaming cpu's
intel fials for gaming
amd has been the gaming cpu and will be!
