  • Great video. Precious precious pics...

  • They became a really boring rock band after Brian left, a shame.

  • Having heard the original, I don't think I could tolerate listening to this version twice.

NEVER heard that many mistakes in one cut...

  • Brian was amazing!!

  • What album was this?

  • @Deathsquad49 this was a single

  • @Deathsquad49

While making "Their Satanic Majesties Request" was it recorded. Released as B-Side of Dandelion.

  • @ColdHeartedMan86 Thank you, and yeah I should probably do my research before I ask.

  • one of thee best piano riffs ever..!

  • I can see one picture of John and one of George at 00:25

  • @menoziinrevoltado wow i never knew that funny stuff

  • That mixed brass Mellotron rasping away is mesmerising! Fantastic sound! Much clearer on this instrumental!

  • elgrovez13 Thank you:-)!

  • Does someone know who plays the piano on this song?? This is a wonderful masterpiece:-)

  • @7saltesild That's the late great Nicky Hopkins on piano. He was brilliant and played with just about everyone. He was also with the great Jeff Beck Group featuring Rod Stewart and Ron Wood.

  • @7saltesild sorry if someone already answered this, but it's the great Nicky Hopkins on keyboards...

  • @elborto552 Nicky on piano and Brian on mellotron.

  • best version

  • I just thought of something that would make this"Dub" lol even better - those great backing vocals The Beatles did....eerie..yeah!

  • Damn! I love the old record but this is Something Else......Heavy shit

  • A neglected masterpiece. The Stones of this period('66'67,early'68)have been poorly served by the critics monotonous adherence to the belief that this was some kind of creative lost weekend. What the fuck do they know!!

  • 66 to 68 their best period for me

  • @InMedioStatVirtus

To be honest I prefer times after Ronnie Wood, he's brilliant and they are better pair of guitarist with THE Keef than with B.J and K.R,

but anywy, this is the rolling stones and we love them every time.

  • An epic, one of their ten best-ever tracks. This song was always as powerful, magnetic and hypnotizing to me as "Gimme Shelter", I don't know why it was a relative flop upon release and not included on compilations, which makes it vastly overlooked today.

  • i used to think it was redundant and annoying.....now i appreciate the subtle changes in keys and little parts they throw in......i still tend to veer towars the dark cuts with the early stones, as opposed to the stabs at hits......like 'rainbow' and 'spend the night' are not up there with my favs -- while 'sittin on a fence' and 'please go home' are really strong song to my ears.

  • If you like the "dark cuts", I don't know why this wouldn't be included...it's one of the darkest cuts they ever recorded. It *is* repetitive, but so is most of the Stones' classic material! I do think the instrumental version brings out the detail in the track, though...there's a lot buried in there.

  • i've heard this song on the radio (i believe) alot in the 70s/80s....so i guess that disqualifies it as a dark cut.....but i may be wrong.....always got this mixed up with 'have u seen your mother' which is also repetitive....know another dark cut that's hard to find anywhere and really good? 'sad day'.....even better yet is 'some things just stick in their minds' (look it up on y tube).

  • By "dark" cut I thought he meant dark in tone and atmosphere. Although as a hit it wasn't as big as the singles that preceded and followed it.

  • this song has a special meaning to me

i got busted at the same time for loving grass

and made a deal to get off

soon after my release i heard this song

    'your uniforms dont fit we

you can lock the doors around we'

  • @jaderdavila you made a deal? you rattd out your dealer huh? lol

  • @yorkshirerepresenter that sob sold me something different from what i wanted. so when the cops busted me i thought: it is my turn now.

  • @jaderdavila so you wanted weed and he gave you acid? bullshit weed is a green plant mate lol

  • nicky !

  • Wow,

    that´s rock !!!!!!!

  • great song

  • We don't care if you only love we

We don't care if you only love we

We love you. We love you, and we hope

That you will love we, too....

  • this is one roarin' hot tamale, meow!!

  • Never been my fav, but I like this better than the finished track. On the other hand, Sticky Fingers was still three long years away. Sticky Fingers, as far as I'm concerned, is the last word in music! Any noise made by anyone since is superfluous!

  • You hit the nail on the head!

  • Such a wonderful happy video!!!

  • love is all around we in this video, yes...

  • magical beautiful wonder this is!!!

  • I.....love this!!! thanxu frommybody!! ~O~

  • this entire LP is stellar. i wonder still what inspired its genius.

  • maybe the Stones feelings of appreciation to their fans for supporting them thru their bouts with the 'law'?///

  • The last picks are amazing....thanks

  • yes, and we all love them, of course we do<3<3<3<3<3
