Surprisingly (or I guess not really "surprisingly" if you're aren't of age to collect Social Security) ... only one of these songs can actually be called a Christmas song., and it's the very first (i.e., the oldest). I think if one were to do either a chart sweep of the #1s on Christmas Day of previous 20 years in the US, or even the British charts over this past half-century, you'd find many if not most #1s had some relationship to the Christmas or New Year's season.
@vjmsecond Actually, no. Only 1942 ("White Christmas" by Bing Crosby) and 1952 ("I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by Jimmy Boyd) were Christmas themed.

The UK charts are a different matter. Nearly every year sees a "Christmas Song" at #1, thanks to BBC Radio being heard nationally.
