  • @Buonarr I think you mean does drake look like mccartney

  • is it jus me or does paul mccartney look like drake from drake and josh? haha

  • Eleanor Rigby scares me even more than revolution 9, idk why.

  • I like Pet Sounds, But clearly Revolver is the true masterpiece of 1966. I don't even think theres any debate there

  • @AnthonyVardaro No The True Masterpiece of 1966 is a Toss up Between Rubber Soul and Abbey Road

  • @romans52345 Rubber Soul's from 1965, and Abbey Road is from 1969

  • thank god for drugs and their enhancment to modern music.

    thank him for music too.

  • Right now, My favourite ALBUM. <3

  • One word: Great!

  • 0:00 Taxman 2:39 Eleanor Rigby 4:43 I'm Only Sleeping 7:40 Love you To

  • Lennon looks like a Hasidic Jew

  • first time listening to this album a few years back and i still remember it, there musical talent was mind blowing and when i die part of the reason i hope there is heaven is so i can see a Beatles concert.

  • sti cazzi!!!!!

  • i did live in the 60s or did i imagine it?

  • taxman is my fav song by george

  • When it comes to Rock n Roll, it Goes the Beatles and then everybody else. Elvis can suck my balls, he was country, not rock, little Richard was more rock than Elvis. The Beatles, then everybody else. the Beatles revolutionized Rock

  • @AKnightforGod The Beatles crossed all genres of music very successfully

  • @AKnightforGod I think you are mistakenly blurring the line between two distinct things: "rock" and "rock and roll." Elvis was rather important in making music more of a pop culture phenomenon. Little Richard helped develop many musical ideas. The point is that all music that happened before this actually contributed to the Beatles' sound, and to deny these artists any musical credit is to be ignorant.

Finally, The Beatles are a rock band, most bands that came before are rock and roll.

  • @ademuth93 thank you.

  • @AKnightforGod How, on earth, would there have beeen any present without history, it´s like saying God made everything 4kitsch years allowing no discussion. Why is it that whenever i encounter an opinion like this, I have to react, wheras when there´s something convening me, I don´t? Is it His doing? Lennon´s, I mean :-)

  • It's weird how their music effected so many people and future bands, but I'm not sure my grandparents know who they are.

  • @DFaimali

nothings wrong elanor rigby wasnt remixed there was the part of the jar face thing

  • @DFaimali

I dont think you were even born then were you anyway the real music vinyl you heard must be on a crappy recorder thats why it sounded different

  • Don't like this mix! This album, and I do mean on the original vinyl, was revolutionary. Why I hate this "remix" or better "demix" is that someone would f--k with the original like they have. Now on this mix those changes really suck. Believe me, I heard this at 13 in 1966 there was nothing that even came close. The sitar, which the Stones use on Paint It Black around the same time was an experiment that IMHO expanded realm of R&R, akin to what synthesizers did when invented years later

  • @DFaimali wtf are you talking I don't here a remix here. but yet again you heard this album from it's original vinyl version and I guess there must be a discerning difference between that version and this version

  • @djtforeal Not trying to be negative, but am I imagining that the vocals in the verses of Elinore Rigby are missing? Elnr Rigby picks up the rice in a church where a wedding has been, lives in a dream, Father McKenzie, darning his socks in the night when there;s nobody there, nobody cares, and the rest. Since I can't hear them, I thought it was a remix, sorry if I'm wrong, Maybe I need new speakers LOL

  • @DFaimali not sure how I did not notice that difference

  • Waiting for Paul to ruin this album by remixing it

  • @luridplanet Oh shut up.

  • Yet another potentially great Beatles album ruined by lame sentimental crap from McCartney

  • @R11thNov2011 How is Eleanor Rigby lame sentimental crap?

  • @R11thNov2011 This album, and I do mean on the original vinyl, was revolutionary. • @R11thNov2011 John Lennon said that "Here, There and Everywhere" was his favorite song by Paul. "Eleanor Rigby" is genius. "For No One" is a piece of melodic brilliance. Paul's lead guitar solo on "Taxman" absolutely sizzles! "Got To Get You Into My Life" is about weed. Does it get any better that that? So, what the hell are you referring to?

  • the 14 you disliked this video were jealous that they cant make that good of music (lady gaga and justin bieber)

  • best album to listen to when you're under the influence of marijuana. trust me.. ;) i'm a doctor.

  • @MrGreglander You're so incredibly right, doc....

  • @MrGreglander I'm not a doctor, but I agree with you. ;) This album resonates true relaxation. Maybe it awakens the marijuana, lol.

  • great f'n upload!!!

  • they took us all by the hand

"nothing and I mean NOTHING , was ever normal for any of us again " - Neil Aspinall

Rubber Soul and Revolver,, when the Beatles transformed from a "pop" group with interchangable bubble gum songs that focused on being singles,, into serious musicians that focused on the albums as a whole experience

(and also the first LP's they made AFTER they started smoking pot ;) )

  • This album was recorded 45 years ago TODAY. Simply amazing. Timeless.

  • Dear Lord, I will trade you Akon, Justin Bieb[censored], Lady Gaga, Rihanna,Britney Spears,Rebecca Black, and the Jonas Brothers for Lennon and Harrison to come back for a week and have a concert with Ringo and Paul just a week of the best band ever for the worst singers of this day and age.

  • @hunterpeterson81095 not a fair trade you can't trade the bad ones for the Lennon and Harrison, i would trade even the good artists of today.....

  • @hunterpeterson81095 not a fair trade you can't trade the worst for the Lennon and Harrison, i would trade even the good artists of today, it would be worth it....

  • Revolver is my favorite album,i like it better than sgt pepper.

  • Each song blows my mind and leaves me standing there dumbfounded and speechless. Only The Beatles can do that.

  • Better than Deadmau5.

  • What do you mean you liked 'older' albums?

Revolver predated both abbey road and sgt pepper dude, This album was a frikkin' turning point.

  • they all look like they're holding a wet fart..

  • Comment removed

  • @johnlennoncanimagine wouldnt they be newer since those came out after revolver

  • awesome but me i like older albums like abbey road and sgt. pepper

  • Revolver makes me float upstream.

  • 13 people owe the taxman

  • first beatles album i heard....it was to much...to good...like an overdose

  • I love it, it makes me want to feel young again.

  • favourite beatles album hands down.

  • Screw you in the ground

  • I heard lots of music - the best of the best

but no one can accommodate so much MUSIC into 35 minutes!

  • im only sleeping is a masterpiece

  • @DmcG120 top 5 beatles song for me. absolutely perfect

  • (AWESOME) 9 X 9 X 9 X 9 X 9 . . .

  • Out of the Big Bang came hurling out a Revolver record!

  • best beatles albums: #1 Sgt. Pepper, #2 Abbey Road, #3 Revolver, #4 White album

  • @krhodesnyj

arhhh sgt pepper is so overrated. it's a good album but revolver is far better.

  • @JoshMufc101 I somewhat agree. Pepper's blew me away when I was a teen, but I've since cooled on it. I do now prefer Revolver, yet Abbey Road remains my all time fave.

  • This is right up there with Dark Side and Led Zep 1.

  • In my opinion, Revolver is where the Beatles peaked.

Just been listening to the Kinks, See my Friends from 1965. Surely a feasible source of inspiration to some ot this A1 album??

  • Revolver <3 My favourite beatles album! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!

  • you can literally hear so much of todays music in this record even after so many years...

  • Here's a question that's always interesting:

Revolver vs Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Which is better and why?

  • @nokturnal5647 i think revolver has got sgt peppers bcuz revolver is just a completely like experimental album and i like this sound, but sgt peppers is amazing

  • the great thing about the name of this album is how they came up with it. they were drvining around in a car once tihnking of a name and they came up with revolver, because they were goin round and round for ages and like the barrel of a revolver it goes round and round ...

  • @beatlesboy183 Alright, but .maybe it came from watching the Vinyl Masters on the turntables or tape whaddya think?

  • Comment removed

  • No band will ever reach the musical genius like these guys did.The lyrics, the melodies, the harmonies, the creativity and everything else that entered your collective mind!

  • Oh god, I love this album more than I realised :)

  • Ringo's creative peak from mid 1965 to 1967 across Rubber Soul, Revolver, SPLHCB and Magical Mystery Tour. In that period he was more then just banging the drums, he was creative!

  • 11 people are just ALLERGIC TO GREATNESS!

  • @MaruMovieFan9779 12 idiots now...how can a music fan not like The Beatles??

  • @ronscott7 I KNOW!! We live in a weird world...

  • john really look like a jew on the first picture

  • just the intro to TAXMAN is groundbreaking..tape loops..coughs..scratches, etc...all in a few second intro....WOW...these fukers are DEMIGODS.

  • these mutha fukers are untouchable...NO ONE can write so many different styles of music and do it so melodically and memorably. THANK YOU BRIAN EPSTEIN FOR TAKING A BIG CHANCE ON THESE GUYS !

  • Imagine living in the 60s and listening that album for the first time. First "Taxman". "Oh, how groovy is this". Then when you are waiting a similar tune, you hear "Eleanor". Your are enchanted by the music and lyrics, and then follows "Im only sleeping".You think "What a cool song, and what a great feeling it gives" and then "Love you to". YOur mind is blown. Only by hearing the first four songs. This is what I call a GREAT GREAT album. Every song must be a unique adventure......

  • @greekLAR Yes it was a " mind blowing" adventure.; I was 16, and life still is. You've described it well. We had never heard sounds, quite like that before;, and then the words.

  • @greekLAR

    My lucky father!

  • @greekLAR everybody goes on about Pepper but there has never been a better album than Revolver. The rumour is that the Beatles had just discovered acid when they created Revolver.

  • @TheMod66 I dont agree with you there ; I have always thought Pepper is better personally. As well, though more of Johns lyrics are influenced by acid on here, 3 of the band had taken acid by August 65, two more than once by then, and John a few times by the time they were recording Rubber Soul in the Autumn of 65

  • @greekLAR Funny you should say this, but when I got to hear Revolver (UK version as I'm from there) for the first time in 1969, we already had Sgt Pepper since 1967 and so this, as good as it is did not have the impact comparatively, that it might have done if I , like many wasnt so captivated by the magic, majesty and colour of Pepper.

  • 10 dislikes,,,wtf...insane

  • Best

    Band

    Ever

    Brilliant beat combinations and harmony.

  • wow... Pink Floyd an the Beatles are my fav bands! true art

  • This album was brought to you in part by LSD, now serving millions

  • Most critics and fans of the Band will name SPLHCB, as their Monumental Masterpiece but no other album has settled the roots and the shape of things to come for future Beatle and Recorded music in general like this album did!, a very different sound from what other contemporaries were doing musically and the Rampaging sounds of the Garage Guitar Fuzz driven Rock that dominated the A-Lists at that time in Music History,This to me Is a true favourite Classic!

  • yeah, stereo version sound better than mono.

  • or... was it FATE?!? ;-D
