Go George! Need a lot of people just like him. Wife has TBI and Hospitals don't want her when they learn of it. She is going backwards in recovery since her bump and hospitals will not take her. I feel that she is being denied treatment. If my daughter had the same bump on her head they would at least keep her overnight to monitor her. Especially having TBI already. The Government isn't the only one to fight over it.

State Dept has horrible bureaucracies. They gave my grandma, 81, the runaround when her greencard expired cuz she overstayed in India taking care of my now deceased grandpa. They wouldn't reinstate her card.

Congressman Vito Fossella tried a lot. Sens Clinton and Schumer never even replied to my mom's letters. She got frustrated and wrote McCain, who was courteous enough to respond in 3 days. I'm an independent but this shit is more incompetence of the Bush team and Democrats in Congress

I feel so sad about that lovely lady's condition, and certainly don't mean to make a demeaning stance over it, but perhaps if her name had been Cheney or Bush, doctors would have broken all running speed records to be sure they got the proper care.

In my personal opinion, the people running the State Department that had control over seeing that she got the professional and proper immediate care, but failed to immediately do so, are some sorry, sorry, uncaring idiots.

It brings back many deep worries from when I lived in Nigeria. When you live abroad, esp. in Africa, you have to start thinking about the fact that there's limited ambulance service, or that after an accident, you better be conscious enough to say: "no blood transfusion!" --yet, it was such a miracle that she was able to first recover like she did. It's so awful to see the government let these people down like this.

This makes me very frustrated and angry that the government won't take care of the people who they need to the most. I know all the circumstances are complicated and many high up officials are involved, but sometimes people just need to do the right thing, which is not happening in this story. I hope that this problem can be solved and that similar situations don't continue to happen. I hope everyone in America hears this story.

I would be curious to see how many others have suffered in the foreign service whose stories we've haven't heard. Incredible!I have great respect for this gentlemen's desire to share the truth against a force like the U.S.State Department. I'm sorry that his wife's condition is so dire, but I think their story will ultimately save other lives.I hope that laws can be enacted to ensure no repeat of this tragedy.

This is a very powerful story which demonstrates how the U.S. Government treats our men and women in the foreign service. How inhumane! I hope that everyone serving our country overseas in all the foreign countries has learned from this video what can happen when your serving your country(especially those in the foreign service in the State Department).
