  • hey dude check out my video of me and my friend snowboarding in the summer may b u could get an idea from our drop in to b able to use ur box in the summer

  • how much was the plactic for the top in total

  • not plastic hdpe

  • dude i saw some pretty gnarly looking misstakes when you where cutting.

  • was that a cigerette i saw at 5:41

  • no its a pen

  • haha, BAM

  • you used way to much wood for that. Why the fuck do you need brackets. That thing is going to be heavy as fuck. I've made a couple of tank boxes and flat downs. and yours is probably just as heavy as those. Havefun packing and moving that around for just an eight ft box. Yeah it's sturdy. but if you know haw to build shit you dont need that much wood.

  • this kid loves the word flush

  • Thanks for the great video man can you help me with mine like email you plans or something? I'm having some troubles

  • Send me plans and how much of each material i need plz

  • i would say around $100 - $250

2x4x8's are cheap like $5 (you dont need pressure treated.. just paint all the wood first with an oil based paint to repel water)

    screws are like $10

plywood (depending on the thickness) is like $30 - $90

the poly is is like $90-$100

  • Ty man now i can go in knowing i wont spend to much money.

  • those are just rough estimates...

  • um...i have a list of the stuff in my description

  • What thickness plywood should i use for sides and the top?

  • Hey dude nice video! But im in trouble with the HDPE thickness. Where i live i can buy 1/4" (6.5mm)and there isn't any thicker size sheets. So my question is, Is the 1/4" really enough to countersink screws and ride on it?

  • yea I used 1/4" and it worked fine. Yea you can countersink them..the plastic is thicker than you think.

  • what r the plans for the box?? can u send them to me

  • how much is hdpe?

  • wait you don't put anything on top???

  • yo bro sick job on box im wanting to build one myself and if i wanted to build a 10 footer wana help me with the math for like spreading the supports and shit and on your finished product in your vid you had the hdpe and then you had like metal sidings or somethin like that?

  • yea I can get some plans for u. What height do u want an width? Yea I still have been to lazy to make my last vid. It will be up soon. Dont worry.

  • well i only want it a couple feet longer and a few inches longer and thanks man

  • hey how do you put the hdpe on the top of the box??

  • since its 1/4" you have to countersink the screws. Get some wood screws and a counter bit thats a little bigger than the screws. Be carful, don't put the bit in too far. THen ur good!

  • where can you buy it in canada?

  • home hard ware

  • so i got my whole box made except for the stuff on top. can you buy HDPE at home depot. and how thick did you get your HDPE

  • you cannot buy it home depot. you can either get it from usplastic(.)com under sheet, shapes and rods. I got the 1/4" sheet. Its stable enough. I could help you get some. where do u live?

  • i need some.....i'm in central WA....btw will it slide aight in the summer????

  • what city are you closest to in WA? Yea just put a lil water on it and its like butter!

  • dope.....uh you know where Yakima be? if not it's like between spokane and seattle, and bout hour and a half from tri-cities

  • what type of plastic can you use

    ?

  • HDPE (high density polyethylene)

  • where did you get it?

  • at a local shop. Here go to usplastics(.)com. go to the sheets, rods and shapes

  • hits expensive...is there anything cheaper or is this the best? but i dont want to do the cheap pvc pipe way

  • its just as good as anything else. where do u live i might be able to help find some stuff

  • whats a snow board box

  • you wasted soo much wood on that box! i built an amazing 28 ft battleship box! thats up flat down for only 200 dollars. u dont even need the horizontal bottom 2x4's! just support it with crossbraces and legs!

  • it cost like 20 bucks for pressure treated wood and I made them like I did so that i could set them up on this prop. It works fine and mine was like 150 total with the plastic and metal so I got a good deal. I looked at ur boxes and they look sick! good job

  • lol my battle ship is not on this account. its on my other one. just type in dan moore snowboarding

  • wow way to much detail
