It's a sequel. The black hair girl is the boss from the last game (girl with the white hair). Same gameplay though.

Is this game a remake of the original? It almost plays like the same... The only difference is that that black-haired girl is now fighting alongside with Shizuru Kamigusa and that there is now voice acting (which makes this superior to Radilgy)...
