Not in video mode - in picture mode you can choose where to focus and it will stay focused on the area you touch even if you move the camera a bit - this feature is a hit & miss though.
Nice! the auto-focus seems like a Useful feature, it doesn`t seem to mention this in reviews so i guess they either didn`t realise it was there or just paid more attention to the camera taking pictures. Could you post a clip with people in just to see how it focuses there? Thanks

It lasted me a day with 2 bars left. In total, I took 500 pictures and 60 videos in four days. :) I didn't touch my panasonic regular camera.
Yea, the camera is great - Might be worth looking into getting a spare battery then you wont have to worry about turning it off & on just to save battery - u can buy a genuine pixon 12 battery on Ebay for only £3.99.
looks like this phone is a bit better than the omnia hd cuz i don't see any skip frame rate and it's 12 mega pixel which is very sharp in image. Is the usb port for this phone has a usb convert for the 3.5mm jack for head phone? if yes, then does it tend to lose or tight? Cuz I have a samsung behold and the converter jack keeps on coming off so I was thinking if it doesn't have the 3.5 jack then it's the usb and it might loosen up in a long run?...
To be honest, frame rate in darker light is not as good as my i8910 HD, on the pixon12 it seems to drop to 23 - 15 FPS when using in dark light but the video/image (but doesn`t skip frames at all) quality is obviously a lot clearer & superior on the pixon12 because there are more megapixels + the auto focus.
The phone comes with a 3.5mm jack adapter/converter and it`s fine, it clicks in tight so no problems with it coming loose.
so the 3.5mm jack adapter plugs into the usb right and it's tight? in that case, I might go with this phone over the omnia hd due to smaller size,easier to carry and I believe it conserves more energy than the omnia hd.The way I see in this video seems very clear and no skipping going on. By the way, when you move the widgets is there any lag?
Yes, it plugs in at the top of the phone instead of down the side like on most other phones, so this means you are less likely to knock it against your hand or anything else wen holding it - Although it does wiggle a bit if you move it, I found it actually doesn`t come out easily, you have to pull it out with force - though not sure if this is the case with every pixon12, some might be looser or tighter than others.

Can you please make a video about the pixon 12 connecting the adapter converter 3.5mm jack etc or do some reviews? Cuz I've thinking about getting this phone or the samsung omnia hd or the Samsung i8510 INNOV8 because these other 2 phones has 3.5mm head phone jack (standard)....
Yes the flash does make it look extra perfectly clear but it is just as good without the flash aswell.
You have 2 options in video mode - 1 is Auto-focus & the other is Face detection which is a hit & miss. But if your holding the phone right the focusing should be spot on most of the time.
Wow!! Looks a lot clearer than other Pixon12 clips i have seen on youtube, but thats probably because using the flashlight helps bring out the true quality?

You cant compare a crappy 3MP cameraphone with no flash to a proper 12MP cameraphone with Xenon & LED Flash.

I have not found any major problems.
Maybe the battery could be better but thats always the case with mobile phones.

Erm, front cam is fine, but no point in putting a video on youtube because its low quality, the high quality is from the camera at the back.
