I love the fact that the used an 80s male actor to play as Tracy's mother in order to make a tribute to DIVINE. John Travolta must've felt honoured to remake John Waters's Hairspray, and over all, to play as Divine here. We all miss Divine so much!

I just got the soundtrack and its Amazing! Amanda Bynes can acutally sing! lol And its crazy some of the actors are even better that the original cast! like Queen Latifa(Mayble), Brittney Snow(Amber) and Christopher Wlaken(Wilber) are all better than the originals in my opinion! =D

Travolta was in his prime musicals in the 70s. He is no Divine and is no Harvey. Either way, I can not wait for this movie. I loved Britany Snow in American Dreams (oddly enough, centered in the sixties) and cant wait to see her on the big screen

Yeah, they recently announced it...It's going to be called "Haunted High School Musical" (which is going to be a bit of a stretch from the first one...maybe It'll be like "Phantom of the Opera!")
