Everyone needs to keep in mind that jarvan has long since been nerfed. In fact I think they ended up nerfing him twice since that date.

He cannot be used as a tanky, damage powerhouse anymore. A lot less damage now than he use to be able to do, which is why he is rarely ever played now :(

Frozen Mallet, wriggles, atma's, infity edge, beserker or merc treads, Banshee's veil... That's my personal favorite build for jarvan.

Nice build but i prefer not to have tier 2 builds on my jarvan unless i could avoid it; jarvan scales better late game than early game dominance. Wriggles was a smart choice for a hard lane, idk bout philo, regen isnt worth it on jarvan; rushing merc treads then trinity would've been smarter. But good job! +1

@ClayMoreSP12 Especially for laning Jarvan can't contribute much without mana. And since the nerf on HP pots, regrowth is a strong opening choice imo. Whatever you prefer, but I got some more video's on Jarvan coming soon to show my current build with him.

@ClayMoreSP12 Phil stone adds around 100 mana per minute, and increases the health regen by a decent amount while giving you the bonus gold. Seems good to me.

@WatchMeSC Do you sell it? As i stated, jarvan has no problem chasing down ppl cuz they're stuck in ur ult (no shur needed) and philo by itself at late game isnt worthwhile in my thoughts :/ FoN is betta for regen if u need it plus your E passively gives u armor, only thing u need is mr and hp :O

But on another note could you make a detailed video for Jarvan. Like go in depth with your build, explain a rotation, go in depth with masteries and runes,and explain strategies. You seem like a person who is good with him and I'd like to learn as much about him as I can. I have looked at guides online and none of them really help. They might have a good build but build isn't always key. I would also like to point out the fact that you score in this game was crazy and scary. Thanks for reading.

@Cobrability Sucks is a little harsh. Not the strongest champion currently is a little more accurate. He can be quite effective if you know how to use him. It's all about playstyle and who you are interested in using. I personally enjoy the way Jarvan plays and I think he is quite viable all the way up the mid-high ELO. If you just play normal games mostly, get the champ you think you will have more fun with. For me, that is Jarvan by far. Hope this helped.

@Cobrability Currently he is really strong. As long as you farm up, you can pretty much wreck late game regardless. His wall is really powerful and far reaching, and his ult is easy to pick up kills and assists which helps feed him for the late game. A strong champ.

@Cobrability CD on Flash is much, much higher than Jarvan's Ulti. Also, don't ult a champ with a Flash ability unless you just saw them use it. Ezreal for example. Most of the time he won't want to say on top of you, so you pop him up and start autoing, he uses his E skill to get away, you follow up with Ult. If he doesn't have the actual summoner Flash, he is caught in it for the duration.

@Cobrability Ezreal's E is relatively long on CD, so if you see him pop it in a fight, pull up to him then ult him. Even with champs like Vayne which can escape your ult with her low cooldown Q, you just have to time it right. If they're foolish enough to Q to get close to you for a little more harass, immediately jump on them. They would then have to wait about 2-3 seconds. Squishy champs like Vayne/Ezreal go down incredibly fast because you'll also lower their armor using Dragon Strike.

Lol@21:50... Zilean ults this Jarvan, and he res's with about 60%hp and mana. This Jarvan goes back instead of helping his team in the teamfight... his team lost that fight probably because he wasn't there, I lol'd. Selfish play sir.

I'll pass on wasting his ult to go back in to die to a nearly full Tryn, and probably full Karthus, along with a Kat who is sure to Shunpo to Tryn to escape, and then come back in and wreck them. Oh wait...that is what happened. Let's also make sure to note that my team HAD to go through the brush they couldn't see through, into a 2v3. Perfect analysis if I do say so myself.

My main problem with this build is, no matter how much resistance you have here, 2500 Hp isn't enough, not for an equally farmed team, this build is more like, You are dominating them throughout the game and end with this, You should have built at least 1 more HP item, Trin force and a Pot aren't going to be enough late game, ever. Replace that Hexdrinker with your FoN and an Atma's for Wriggles, then a Sunfire/warmog's.

@POWERUPE honestly only thing i can think of is smart cast but you have to have your mouse where you want the spell to go before you hit e or q, (learning how to smart cast efficiently is going to make you an all around better player anyway)

Did you know that you can change the item order by dragging them within the toolbar? Consequently there's no need to buy the items in certain order to have them in preferred slots.

I've been testing out Jarvan for some weeks now, and the best offensive gear that I get is Madred Blood Razor/Black Cleaver/Sword of The Occult. Defensive (AD): Frozen Heart, thorn Mail, Guardian Angel. Defensive (AP): Banshee and FoN. And Yeah good guide and build.

@POWERUPE Bloodrazer too expensive to build early, Black Cleaver is a nice item, except I prefer other item's much more. Sword of the Occult imo, is just bad. Stacking items are bad imo. Those items are all ok, but I prefer my build, and I have another tanky build that works good too while keeping his damage respectable.

@iXtcDrgn I prefer a hybrid Jarvan. I find that he works best overall. I have used him many many different ways, and just find that this build suits me personally the best. Tank Jarvan doesn't have the damage output to be that useful imo. And DPS Jarvan is just a bit too fragile. So I start with my first few items such that I can stay alive pretty easily.
