@Guinepigsrock you don't look up a tutorial it can't really be explained through text.

@Guinepigsrock you see the bar were it says Square 1, well, just pop that off with your finger nail. If it is glued, then you'll have to do a risky thing. Thrawst did it to his square 1, take a razor sharp blade, then cut off the panel along the line were it looks like its glued. It should come off and off after that.

@JamesCalex its 100% different than a 3x3. It took me about an entire day to learn. It was very difficult. Took me about 2 hours for the 3x3. Really hard in comparison

Hey, I know that 4x4! It's sitting on my desk XD Still fun to solve even though I have to be careful so that it doesn't explode.

I can't wait until I get a square-1. Looks like a blast to solve. And it'll be yet another puzzle to casually solve before class and impress the heck out of people (my 5x5 and megaminx are people's favorites so far).

quite funny, I learned how to solve the sq1 from you(r video) and I use the exact same method

and I'm almost twice as fast!

what 3x3 method do you use? because I can't get sub-30 and I saw atleast one 20 something solve in your videos.

I like your method for edge orientation, but for the last part use grintoth's corner permutation alg and the nine cases of edge orientations. Switch the top and bottom to complete both sides.

this puzzle isnt a 1x1x1 rubiks cube its a square 1 its not exactly the simplest thing to do.... i have one and when you twist the corners you have to perfectly line up the lines on each layer and make sure that it goes all the way through a layer so its turnable

Cool. It seems to me like you use the poor man's method, with a few more algs thrown in. That's what I'm learning, I can get from any shape into a cube with corners and edges oriented, but I have yet to learn the permutation algs. Especially that frickin parity alg...
