  • May I ask with the althran guy on gryphon how do you put the base on him.

  • hi first off your videos are great and every helpful! i am wondering which army i should add on to any help is apreciated

  • am i gonna need glue when i buy this box game set

  • @EvilJaime Hi Jaime sorry for the late reply. The set contains no glue or paint. the models don't need glue to assemble (they press together) but if you're going to paint them you should glue them with a plastic glue such as GW plastic glue or our preferred Revell Contacta (which is great and has an excellent nozzle for accurate gluing). Other than that to paint them you need a spray primer like chaos black and of course some paints. GW make a great starter set with clippers, glue and paints.

  • im gonna buy this but i wanna know what im gonna need to build these miniatures and stuff im 12 and its my first miniatures and i don't know how to start building these things and what i need please explain

  • @EvilJaime some plastic glue, brushes, paints and a primer spray. Ask about that in the GW store

  • i dont have a base for the griffon has anyone else had this problem or could give me any help as to where to get one form

  • Just a quick question about the box.. I was just finishing putting together my rat ogres and found the bases given have nowhere for the ogres to clip into, the base is just a solid fill. Now the rat ogres have two little cylinders coming off each foot.. so i assumed there was going to be two similar sized holes on the base. I'm not sure if this was just my box, or if I'm suppose to clip these off and glue the feet onto the base. This is my first box of warhammer, so i'm just a little bit lost :P

  • @stegie - if you flip the base over you will see loads of holes, just punch one of them out using your hobby knife, then flip it over and slot the pegs on the miniatures feet into you freshly made hole ... hope that makes sense ;)

  • Is the mini rulebook in color ?

  • @MAbildtrup - yep, full colour ... its a lovely book!

  • I am a huge fan of the elf on the griffin! A beautiful model!

  • @Lordgav545 good isnt it :D it looks incredible to paint

  • for the eagle dont use the plastic fly stand, its really flimsy. Mine snapped in the middle of a game so i replaced it with a steel nail. It works much better ;)

  • They don't teach us English in school, it scares the kangaroos.

  • @tenabrae - hahaha, nice one Michael :)

  • Can you do one in English?

    JUST KIDDING!!! Great video. :)

  • The Skaven rock too... You can make a great starter army out of 2 boxes. I'm going to be doing a video diary for BattleBunkerTV over the next month or so taking the box to a full skaven horde.

  • That High Elf Mage model is simply gogeous. Im a 40K Veteran who wants to get into Fantasy as well (since it was HeroQuest that got me into wargaming nearly twenty years ago, I feeel I should start a Fantasy army). What better time to start a new game type than when they release a starter set as excellent as this one.

  • Dude... Blood Island models completely own the ones in Assault on Black Reach. Damn you Games Workshop!

  • Thank god you have a decent Shirt on this time LOL

Should do a quick game with just the starter set models.

  • The moral of the story is never trust a fish-man.

  • Great review, though you made one minor mistake: at 3:22 and following, those two are actually both LSG. The left one is a normal trooper and the right one is the LSG champ. Quite obvious, though, seeing as he has a friggin' FISH biting his head and is carrying a LSG shield. :P

  • now i have to figure out how to convert my extra griffin to a great eagle

  • omg i will have to sell my kidney to buy 3 of them

  • nice vid,, first time ive got to see a good pic of the figs in the box,, your right they put in some nice sculpts.

  • good review. Damn those elf spearmen and rat ogres look better then the normal plastic box kits I think.

  • great review cheers
