  • ITS NOT HARD PEOPLE ANGLE YOUR CUTS FROM GOOD ROSE STOCK, CUT THE FLOWER OFF TOP AND REPLANT IN GOOD STERILE SOIL AND YOULL SEE

  • I've done it so many times and never succeded. They always rot

  • HATE VIDEO ON BOTTOM OF VIDEO...REALLY SUCK. MIGHT JUST START SKIPPING EHOW!

  • misting bed is best ! I have a mistamatic ...It rocks!

  • it does work, just make sure the soil is sterile and stick several cuttings in a pot as success rate is rather low... i grew 6 out of 10 cuttings..

  • it doesnt work

  • I'm told that you should put a jar over the cutting to maintain moisture. Do you agree?

  • whatever, that was a waste of time.

  • Cut a young shoot at an angle just above the junction of a leaf. Strip off a few leaves above the cut, leaving 4 to 6 leaves about that. Cut off any buds or flowers. Dip in rooting medium. Place in moist playground sand (it's finer than regular sand) in a plastic cup (we like clear so you can see the roots growing) and cover with another inverted cup. Trim the edge so it fits inside the bottom cup.

  • After 3 to 5 weeks you should have roots. Start taking cup outside a few hours each day to harden off the plant to being outdoors. After a week of this, plant and enjoy. This works with a lot of plants. New shoots work best so Spring is a good time to begin making cuttings. Look at your neighbor's yards for plants you like and ask them if you can take cuttings.

  • Thank you
