  • I remember hearing about this in the 80's and I even bought the book. However, we didn't have HBO so I never got to see it. I always liked shows/movies with controversial topics and this was definitely one in the 80's. What I always hated about the book, though, is that Alex is kind of "stereotypical"; that is, they made him "shy and artistic". I think it would have been more interesting if Brad had been the gay guy; that is, partying hard and all over the girls.

  • They play football in Canada?

  • They are super cute. *_* I hope this isn't a sad movie. Too many of those out there...

  • This isn't a sad ending is it. Because all these gay movies with sad endings is just plain depressing.

  • ALEX DIDN'T DO ANY THING!!! IT WAS THAT FUCKING BASTARD!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • poor alex :c

  • Also, I think he was so paranoid that people would think he was gay that he thought it might be better to keep quiet. I was confused at first, but then I reminded myself that he is a scared, in the closet, teenager.

  • I think the reason he didn't tell is because he didn't know how to handle himself when the officer asks about why he thinks the guy made a pass at him.

  • wow 1986

  • omg.. could you please tell me why he didn't tell anything to the cops... i don't understand...
