@pidgeonsandpiearetas I don't know if I can post a tutorial, but I can give you a brief rundown. The neurons in the foreground are all precomposed. They're the same neuron essentially, except rotated and offset in z-space. The electrical charges are done with stroke and a glow effect. The neurons in the background were generated using trapcode Particular, using a custom particle.

not bad, woulda been nice to hear some music with it, as well as make each synaptic message faster so it seems more realistic.
